Yesterday i visited this lovely shop as a younger person that has never visited a local shop before, and it was a wonderful experience! The owner, Kris, and her assistant, Pat, were very warm and charming older ladies that helped me learn the basics of knitting! They have this donation section where any donated tools, books, and yarn come out free! It was perfect for me since I was just beginning to dip my toes into knitting. I was there for a couple hours and Pat introduced me to a different style of knitting, and Kris taught me how to cast on, knit, purl, increase, and cast off. Although i didnt purchase any yarn, their selection was wide and beautiful and have a great price range. Kris is helpful and informative. She host events and classes. Great selection of many yarn types and materials. Natural and synthetic yarns displayed in dedicated areas in the store. Kris has premade kits with instructions and yarn (yarn colors can be swapped). Crocheted clothing are available for sale too by local artists.

My new favorite place to get crochet supplies!!! The owner is amazing, she is so sweet and gave me an impromptu lesson on how to make a popcorn stich 🍿. They sell everything you need and have cute starter kits for beginners. They also have stuff from local artists and 80% of the proceeds go directly back to the artist.
