Idyllwild Post Office — Local services in Idyllwild-Pine Cove

Well this place has its quirks. They have certain rules. Been here over a year and I think I finally kinda get it.

Everyone who has ever been a 💩 to them should buy them a pizza from fratellos.

Here's a break down: Nobody up here gets mail to their house from usps so it is required to have a po box for anything usps

If you have a place that doesnt accept po box for address then you have to include your box number by your name or street name ie: first name (insert box number) last name, or street name #(box number) or similar. If you have enough problems and are a problem (like I was) they eventually know tour box number.

Dont expect mail until after 2pm. Maybe after 4pm if it is a Monday or Tuesday after a holiday weekend.

Yellow tags/tickets- they are for things that dont fit in your box, take them to the front. They take them in bundles from customers and pull packages from the back. They will then bring the packages and call them out...

Saturdays- the doors to front desk are not open But if you are expecting a package or have a yellow ticket- the small door is open to knock on and get your stuff from 12 to 1

they do try and match it to your box if you dont have it labeled correctlyI would suggest using informed delivery

Great customer service. .. after a little bit of time they know who you are, they recognize your face, and that small town feel you receive, even though they do big time business. They just know customer service there.
