Oakbrook Terrace Park District Heritage Center — Local services in Illinois

This is a great renovated park. It has basketball courts, sand volleyball, tennis courts, 2 play grounds for different age groups. Very cool architectural playground. My daughter loves the new park. The only thing I wish it had was a water pad area for the summer. I believe the old one had it, but for some reason they removed it when it was renovated. I'd give it a 4.5 stars and recommend it for everyone. It could get busy and crowded at times, so I would suggest increasing security or patrolling the area more often to keep the kids on...

I really like this Park District. They have several park locations that offer different amenities. They just recently put in a brand new playground right by the main Park District building and the park is awesome! My five year old and 11 year old both love it and I as a parent enjoy playing there as well! The slides are really fast and makes me miss being a kid. A total hidden gem! This place is perfect for families—clean, well-maintained, and packed with fun activities. The indoor pool is great year-round, and the fitness center has solid equipment. Staff are super friendly and always hosting cool community events. Kid’s classes? Awesome. Senior programs? On point. Only downside is parking gets tight during peak hours, but it’s worth it.
