I was at the Villa Park store in Illinois around 6:12 p.m. January 30th 2025. I was at the cage where the attendant female check your ID. The female attendant checked my ID I said could you leave it there in the bin for a second twice, while I was rummaging through my very small purse for the truck key. The attendant insisted I take the ID immediately from her ugly hand. Which I did. I just misplaced my truck key. I had a small purse and the truck key has just gotten stuck in between the wallet I showed the female attendant, see that's what I was looking for no one was behind me in line. I was at the window less than 15 seconds. She insisted on me taking the ID from her ugly hand. I said could you just leave it there for a second twice. Afterwards I said can't you see I'm looking for something in my purse I showed her I found the key see. Afterwards Whew, thinking to myself I thought I dropped it on the way in. I said to this rude thing, why are you young people so rude to older senior citizens? I'm 65. She pushed the security button and had the security come into the ID checkpoint area. The security guard wanted me to explain this entire conversation which was less than a paragraph, I said I'm leaving I don't need her behavior. I walked out the door went over to another dispensary in the and spent my $200 there. I just called the store and asked to speak with the manager some assistant manager got on the phone who was also rude. He would not listen to me speak he just kept rambling on intimidating me and being rude. I intend to check the state license and filing state status of the company whom are and the rental status of the property being rented. I have met some very good people that have worked there and have been very nice to me excellent customer service. I do see this store has a turnover of the ID attendant and security guard I would like an explanation why that is? I felt deliberately targeted by your company. Buy this thing checking ID. No one was behind me in line I was not causing a disturbance your employees were. Causing verbal elder abuse on a senior. This is the second time within a year that I have had a problem with the female ID attendant both different things, the first incident about a year ago the woman checked my ID and I went to open the door and she didn't push the buzzer, to open the door I looked towards the window and just gave her a look or on whether she was going to open the door or not. She did open the door and let me in but the security guard who was in the attendant ID check room was laughing and she had a smirk on her face that was disgusting. Read moreThere's a lot I could say but I'll keep it short. Looking at the other reviews it seems I wasn't the only one with this problem. Defective product, I tried to return it or exchange. They told me to send an email. Took a long time so I threatened to contact the BBB(which I shouldn't have done there was no need for threats I was frustrated with the lack of customer service and wasted money), finally spoke with Ozzie over the phone he told me to come in and that he'd take care of me, I come in same day and the employee at the front began trying to argue with me and he offered me $10 off as recompense for a full gram that I bought previously, he was disrespectful for no reason and began getting mad and frurstrated for some reason and then claimed I yelled at him when he started getting aggressive in the end saying if I didn't take the $10 off then I'm out of there. In the end Ozzie came and was very professional about the situation and the rest of the staff were cool(except that one guy) however it's hard for me to give anything higher than a 2 star because the experience wasn't the best. I wouldn't say I would reccomend this place if you have no issues it's probably cool but God forbid if something doesn't work you'll probably deal with a lot of backlash from the foot soldier at the front of the store and only getting a discount for a defective product. Read morered flags all over this business as a Secret shopper I decided to stop by to check out the location . The front staff was nice but they messed up and gave me a defective product. Rather then fixing the issue in the store the manager told me she will only speak to me outside? Of the company property. Then it got even weirder because rather then fixing my issue and wishing a happy holiday. She started arguing with me screaming and just the whole 9 yards. Then she told me I should buy goods and products form her not the store. Leaving me confuse. Then she didn’t want to listen to anything I had to say and then walked in the store and didn’t let me back inside. It’s an ok location to little to no customer service.
