Loved this place, sooo beautiful on the inside and outside. The surrounding area is really clean and safe. There's a mall and lots of food choices nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful. We ate breakfast on Friday and Saturday. On Saturday and Sunday breakfast closes at 10am and the rest of the week it closes at 9am. On Friday they had yogurt, muffins, apples, toast, bagels, 3 juices and milk. They had bacon and sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy. They have blueberry and regular waffles you make yourself. On Saturday the inly difference was no bacon and they had a cheesy omlet instead of scrambled eggs. They also have coffee, tea and hot coa coa out all day for guest. Lots of seating for breakfast which i really like and the seats werent too close to eachother. The only downsides were one of the 2 elevators were broke the whole time we were there and they only had 2 trollys to carry in and out luggage for guests to use and they were small and the room when we came in smelt a little weird, like BO and sweat a little. The bed smelled like that too. We ended up getting used to the smell, it wasn't terrible just definitely reminded us of how many people stay in these rooms and beds lol. I think a nice steam cleaning of the carpets and beds would help that and changing out the pillows and not just pillow cases would help as well.

Pleasantly surprised upon arrival at this place how wonderful I felt. The personal at the front desk very personable. The cleanliness and the well stocked little store. Full breakfast included!!! Eggs, waffles, fruit, pastries, cereal, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, scrumptious. Hot and good! Geared up now for a full day!! The food attendants very pleasant, and a tentative to keeping foods full and available. I thanked them for their job. Very 👍 nice. My room wow top of my list, very clean comfortable safe everything worked very comfortable. Lots of pillow great mattress. Location location location! Perfect. I've stayed at Holiday inn near here and this gem was here all along. I love it's not on the main drag so it's quiet. Near stores, the mall, the tollway, the interstate. What's not to like!! I'm pleasantly surprised top value for a reasonable price! Thank you 👍😊!

This is not the typical Sleep Inn! My wife and I stayed one night on Jan 12, 2025. We used Choice points for the stay. The location is convenient to tons of shopping and dining places. Walking in, we were amazed at how modern, clean and bright it was. We were checked in quickly and given our tap to enter keys. The room was also modern and clean. The bathroom was top notch and bright. We used the clean exercise room and all the machines worked. We had a more than adequate breakfast. Checkout was easy. I’ve been to other Sleep Inns and this location, hands down, was the nicest ever. It was nicer than any Quality Inn and most Comfort Inns we’ve stayed at. When needed a hotel when up that way, we would definitely stay at this Sleep Inn! Ken Koren Rockville,IN

The first day we get into our room, there was some woman’s long, black wavy hair and every part of the room and when I mean, every part, it was under the blankets under every sheets and some pillows all on the floor in the bathroom on parts of walls, like everywhere. The next day we called and asked at 9 AM in the morning if someone can come clean our room and change our sheets as soon as possible because that’s just gross. We leave to go see some family then we come back that night and it was just the same sheets and blankets with the same hair, they just made the bed Instead of changing it. There was also what looks like some type of dirty brown handprint on the bathroom sink that I ended up cleaning up, thankfully brought disinfecting wipes. TV remote for the TV was horrible and it’s almost like it didn’t register anytime. I press the button and it would take a whole 30 seconds for it to register and you have to hit the side of the remote in order for it to work. I felt like someone the staff were very uneducated on certain things. Like the front desk staff when I called for someone to pick up my trash in my room because our room wasn’t clean for two days, the lady at to front desk told me that someone was going to be there right away. 2 1/2 hours later I called back and ask them, ‘Is it ok if I just put the trash in the hallway because it’s starting to smell our room?’ The lady at the front desk tells me all the cleaning staff is gone for the day and I am gonna have to wait until tomorrow…. So I had to wait three days for someone to come grab the trash out of our room. On one Of the days out of the week we stayed there. I asked them for toilet tissue because We ran out so I called the front desk and they told me I would have to come to the front desk to pick up my own toilet tissue since the cleaning stuff was yet again gone. It seems to me the cleaning staff is gone at different times of the day because the day before that was when that lady told me that the staff was gone for the day and that was at five 6 PM and then I called the next day for the toilet tissue, it was at 3 PM when he told me that the cleaning staff was gone for today, even though I saw some of them in the hallway still cleaning. Also, the one day that they clean our room, they did not vacuum the room at all so it was just a accumulation of crumbs because it seems to me that doesn’t count as cleaning even though I heard that they do have a vacuum cleaner, but I guess they only vacuum when people leave. I have a two year-old who is loud and rowdy of course because that’s just how toddlers are and they decided to put us in a split room where it connects to another room with a door… So I felt bad at any point in time when my son was screaming and jumping all over the place and making noise in the middle of the night, but thankfully it didn’t seem like it bothered anybody. Another thing that bothered me is that the doors are very secure, but there is a complete huge gap where the door supposed to touch the floor… i’m glad our door had multiple locks to it, but that gap in between the floor and the door kind of concerned me and also side doors for outside that you can go out of, someone lodged the rock into so they can go back-and-forth in the door, which is very dangerous. They have cameras everywhere, but I don’t know who would be the security if half the time it’s just mainly the front desk, people and part of the day the cleaning staff. Another thing I did not understand was the comforters had rips and holes all in them that was showing the cotton and everything, and they thought the brightest idea of resolve that from people from seeing it is to cover it with a sheet at the bottom and a sheet at the top of the comforter??? Instead of being cheap, just replace them, even some of the sheets had holes in it. Some of the sheets and pillowcases also had old stains on them that im sure wasn’t being treated properly for them to be removed off of them. I am one for cleanliness, but like I said in my title, you get what you paid for I can’t 100% complain because of how good of a price it is to stay there for eight days but then again there are a lot of things that need to be addressed that can be...

Save yourself the time, hassle and money and don’t even bother with this place. They will only make empty promises to you.

My wife and I originally reserved a room block for our wedding in Oak Brook, around ~10ish rooms or so. We worked with Veronica to specifically reserve rooms within the same vicinity so that we could be close to our guests during the nights leading up to and on the night of our wedding. We had been working with her for at least ONE full year prior to this to make sure we had the rooms we wanted.

Come the day of the wedding, we were told our rooms were “given away” by the general manager and our whole room block was split up, despite having notation under our reservation to NOT make any room changes. Veronica could seemingly not give us any plausible explanation for why this happened. When we asked to speak to the manager, Veronica first told us that the manager was not on-site. Then when we asked for the manager’s name, she then told us to wait and walked away, seemingly to speak to the manager who she just told us was not working. She then told us that as a courtesy, they would refund the cost of one free night back to us, as well as give us complimentary use of their shuttle bus. This was agreed upon on Oct 24th, 2025. It is now Nov 6th, about two weeks later and we have not been compensated, nor has there been any follow-up after contacting the venue regarding this.

Additionally when we were first browsing hotel options the year prior, Veronica had told us they were in the middle of constructing a brand new indoor pool for guests, which we were told would be finished by Summer 2025 and be ready in time for our guests. As of October 2025, the pool is still under construction. The hotel lobby was also undergoing some renovations which we were not told about as well. There was exposed drywall, paint and a large area covered by construction tarp jutting out into the lobby which does not really scream “inviting” to our guests. Again, we were not informed about the construction in the lobby.

We will not be recommending The Sleep Inn to any friends, family or any guest looking for a good hotel accommodation. The Oakbrook Terrace location is operated under poor management and failed to meet any of our standards, even when trying to accommodate for their own ineptitude and failure to adhere to basic customer service etiquette such as keeping our original room...

Pros: rooms were clean and affordable , Breakfast 4 hot meat breakfast items , apples, bananas, oranges, good yogourt option, cereals, bread, bagel, muffin , juices and tea/cofee, waffles machine - overall good . free parking , free wi FI Housekeeping everyday Very near Oakbrook Centre with theatre and arcade, shopping , dining Cons: 1. elevators were not working during our stay, breakfast was hot and fresh with lot of hot meat options; but for vegetarians the only hot meal was oatmeal; no potatoes, no beans; Staff was knowledgeable and answered all the questions but not friendly, cheery, or welcoming . There was no coffee, etc in the lobby; only hot chocolate and water but there was coffee in the room One of our rooms was near the exit and also near the parking lot and was quite noisy with motorcycle and people walking outside . There were only two towels for 4 people with two queen beds . 6 . The washroom in the lobby was a bit dirty when we arrived , elevator not working and there were garbage bags left near garbage cans on all floors. No compensation offered for elevators not working and we didn’t ask We saw lots of water bottles near the check in but not sure if they were for customers as we didn’t get any . The shower glass door in room 219 was a bit wobbly and needed gentle handling The hotel left a bad impression on the first day upon arrival but we were impressed with the daily housekeeping and overall it was a good stay and we got good value the breakfast was good and we enjoyed it but potatoes could be added for vegetarians . If they know 4 people are checking in a room, 4 towels could be placed prior to...
