Goodwill Retail Store and Donation Center — Local services in Imperial Beach

I just moved here (and drove) from across the country a few months ago and had barely anything due to only fitting particular small items in a vehicle. I was on a budget and I didn't want to spend thousands on new home goods, furniture, clothing, etc. This store has saved me so much money!!! I bought all of my home goods here are well as some new and stylish vintage clothing. I found beautiful glassware, dishes, silverware, original framed artwork, decorative baskets, and much more. I could of bought some nice furntiture here but I am now moving once again. It is so much cheaper now a days to buy at thrift stores and to save money. Plus you find much more unique items here that you never would find in the store for such a cheap price. You'd be surprised the types of treasures you will find that you need to buy here. Of course if you go at different times and days of the week it can be hit or miss( if you plan on buying a lot at once), but every trip going to this store was worth it. This particular thrift store is small, but they have quite a selection that is constantly changing. The staff is friendly, and if you are in the military you can save even more money. I always enjoy popping in for a peek and a purchase. They have a decent size place and better pricing than some of the other Goodwills. They all offer a 10% discount to military and over 55 age. They are adjacent to a $1.25 store for stretching your money even further. The dollar store has a bathroom and the Goodwill doesn't (you're welcome). They have two speciality glass cases and a wrap around glass case at checkout. They had a pretty decent selection for the size of the store. Best part is that Goodwill accepts my student ID card for a student discount, where most stores say only if you are like 18-19 years old, I think that is ridiculous. They were very good to work with us because my daughter was taking forever in the changing room and we ended up running past the closing hours, but they were very patient and well mannered and I didn't feel like they were shoving us...
