Thoroughly cleans your car, however I have found minor scratches which unfortunately seems inevitable unless you go to touch less car washes. However, yesterday I was coming out of the wash and was about to exit to head home, I heard a flapping noise and true enough I had a flat tire on my front left side. Seconds after I exited the drying portion. The same side that the gentleman is on to guide you in.. I am unsure if my tire was low on air prior to entering, but if so you’d think any nice person would point that out and advise not to enter the wash. Afterwards, I waited about an hour and a half after closing for roadside assistance and was still on their property. I was parked in front of their detailing garages with my flat tire easily visible from the garages. Not a single employee checked in or checked on the situation, despite me being parked there way past closing. Even the tech from roadside assistance was shocked considering I am a young female who was alone as it was getting dark. I finally went ahead and cancelled my membership after trying to see past the minor scratches it would leave on my car, and now this. At least all my tires, including the flat one have tire...
Read moreI'd been a monthly member with Go for years (Belfonte also) and would also visit Tidal Wave after I dropped the membership. So one day the car needed a wash and I decided to try Charlies. Not quite what I expected, actually lame and average at best. Very few items to actually wash the car, I was surprised to see such few pieces of equipment in the long tunnel. The 'washing' back and forth device had me concerned it was grinding in grit and debris from the dirty car as it swished back and forth. The blow dry was hit and miss so I turned the corner to see about self service drying area...well there are vacuums but they don't offer towels. For the basic $10 (I think it was $10) you don't get hardly anything. For your members, try Tidal Wave, the $10 wash is very comprehensive, includes tire shine, awesome dry and a self serve area with supplies. Sorry Charlie, your place is average at best on a good day and really no value. Now if it was a $6 basic wash I could understand. If you want to see how you can improve, visit your competitors and see...
Read moreI have not wasted $35 in a worse way in quite a long time. I opted for the "Works" package... the best offering they have. I moved to Oak Grove Mo. from Overland Park Ks. The Green Lantern on 135th & Black Bob in Ks does an ok job... this was my 1st time at the Independence location & man was this a sad sad job. I watched these mindless workers just 1/2 ass everything they touched, including my new F150. They don't even hold a rag correctly... they scrunch it up & then wipe about 40% of a panel... no wonder we are missing the mark here guys! I watch them spray cleaner while looking the other way & they don't even spray the surface they are pointing at. Just a poor training environment & lack of caring. There were so many thing on the inside of my truck they were not even touched it's comical. The manager at this store really needs to get everyone in a bay after work & show them how to efficiently detail a car, or at least do what I am told I am paying for. I'd love to see my $35 back for this wasted service, but I'm sure...
