Mardels is a great place to shop. We went there looking for books for a friend and found that they had books on sale for as low as $1.00! And these were books by famous authors like Max Locado. We have shopped there before but each time we have gone there we find something even better. We were able to get our friend books, a throw blanket and even some fleece lined Sox. We also found d several things for our grandchildren. Talk about "one stop shopping". This place is great. And the cherry on top is the fact that the staff tell you to have a "blessed evening" and a Merry Christmas. In today's "politically correct" world the average person is afraid to say things like this to customers as they are worried about offending them. Well, I don't want anyone saying "Happy Holidays", I want them to say Merry Christmas as Christmas is coming. I ordered (in person at the store) 3 BJU press products 2 weeks ago. I paid extra to have them mailed to my home since I live 25 miles from the store. Nine days later I called and they had no record of the order. I had paid cash, and fortunately had saved the receipt. They placed the order for me and overnighted it to my address; but they sent THE WRONG PRODUCTS! When I finally drove back out to the store, I asked for a refund of the shipping costs, and I asked how they were going to make right the fact that this was an ongoing issue. They continued to make excuses for how "it is natural to get mixed up between 4th grade test keys and 2nd grade student tests." In fact when I asked to speak to the store manager, Richard, he was the worst about making excuses and not offering an apology, much less a refund. There's are many books, T- shirts and sweat shirts, goodies and all with a saying of some kind, for instance, I found a really nice sweat shirt that says; Fear Is A Liar, I love it, it's more "dressy / casual" than normal sweat shirt material, but it was a little higher than I would like to pay, but fear really is a liar, so I bought it! They have a very small CD section, but we found 11 CD's for low prices! They did say that its hard to say how much they'll have because they're receiving less and less, so go see what they do have.
