Yummy Crab — Restaurant in Indianapolis

I been ordering from yummy crab for a long time now, and I didn't ever have a problem until now. We spent 53 dollars on two, 2 item combo, 1 was spicy and one was mild, and the mild one was what my friend got. Her bag came with 1 broccoli, 4 potatoes, 2 corn on the cobs, and some crab legs in mild sauce. She started eating and she ate all of her crab legs first, then she ate the one broccoli, when she started eating her corn she found a long hair, it was black and yellow at the end of it, my friend stop eating and put the hair in a napkin and and tossed it. My mom said we need to call them, so we called them and told them what happened and they said would we like a refund or for them to replace it, my friend said replace it. We get get and they tell my mom that they can't find the hair and that food is almost gone, keep in mind the food only had 4 potatoes, 1 broccoli florets, 2 corns, and crab legs, she ate the crab legs and the broccoli, and because her food was half gone and they couldn't find t.he hair, they couldn't replace it or refund us. Beware, make sure you carefully examine your food and if you find a hair, make sure you take it back immediately, or your out of luck, nobody really think to check there food first, because expect the place 5o be clean, and this never happened before, so now my mom said I can't order from them anymore, and we spent lots of money there, oh and I had the spicy one, and thank God there was no hair in mines. I guess I have to start going to juicy...

So we got a craving for a boil. We googled the top 3 locations. We selected based on travel length for location, and Yummy was the closest. We was greeted and seated without a wait even though we arrived at what I would consider mid dinner, but was pleasantly surprised to find the place nice and quiet. Video will show this. Server came after we sat and our drinks arrived moments after. Having already studied the menu prior to arrival, we was ready. Appetizers orders and our entrees selected we ordered all st once. Toss a rack of King crab legs in that boil while you're at it., they did. Barely halfway thru my first drink, the appetizers arrive steaming. Catfish I mean was delicious. Without time to finish, which if they was eyeing us closer would have timed the arrival of our next placement, after the removal of our empty appetizer dishes. But the server was pleasant so that was easily overlooked. Popping the boil open and the aroma that followed took me into the deep south. I dug in. Being cooked in the same Sauces, Everly item had it's unique flavor. This was completed a very enjoyful weekend. I can see us returning which we will see if we can elevate this rating to a higher...

I got this delivered so I cannot comment on the actual restaurant service but I was really craving a boil but had no interest in making it myself. My first impressions were pretty high but as I've eaten the leftovers I've noticed some things that made me annoyed. First thing that isn't nitpicking is that I got a shrimp boil and they weren't deveined very well. I would say it was about 80% deveined. So I had to clean each shrimp before I ate them which was annoying. A possible nitpicking thing, but certainly a personal preference thing was that I don't believe the ingredients were cooked in any real seasoning. I can understand because you have different levels of heat and different sauces not cooking them in the sauce but to not cook it even with some Old Bay felt strange. The ingredients didn't get a chance to really get any real flavor infused into them and it tasted like the sauce was thrown in last. Also the sauce was very oily and didn't stick to anything very well. For the price I'm fine with what I got but I think next time I'm craving a boil I will try...
