Gordon Food Service Store — Local services in Indianapolis

Went to get some veritable chicken cuts in a single box. Upon arriving I asked a clerk where it was after I didn't see it in the freezer section. He advised me that they no longer carry multiple cuts in a single box. I was disappointed that they no longer carry the main item I go there for. I'd made a one hour drive to get there & I wasn't going to waste my time & gas so I selected two different cuts of chicken even though I had to purchase two separate boxes at 1 & 1/2 the cost of what ordinary cost used to be. I must say even with my disappointment I was very impressed with the kindness & helpfulness of the clerk. I'm giving 3 stars due to my product not being available. I'd give the clerk 5 stars if I could rate...

The prices are considerably higher than other grocery stores in the area and they do not honor their own posted sale prices. When I asked about the sale price, the cashier swore at me.

GFS back home was an affordable place to get large quantities of items but this store is massively overpriced. You're better off going down the street to Meijer or Walmart and buying 3 smaller packages of what you need because you will pay half for it...
