Cannot even begin to describe the deals and selection in this place. Gentlemen, rejoice! We have our own consignment shop! No women's shelves! Just well-organized shelves of blazers, slacks, short sleeve button ups, dress shirts, shoes all separated by style and then color. Makes it very easy to shop here. Last time, I left DMR with 3 dress shirts (J. Crew, Jos A. Banks and Gap) for less than $30. The previous time, I made away with a Marc Ecko Cut & Sewn blazer for $12! Another important aspect worth noting is the quality of these clothes. Of all the clothing items I have flipped through here, I have really only come across one that's appearance was questionable. 99% of the clothing in here looks like they just came back from the dry cleaners. Not a bad way to pick up some used clothing.
If you have motorcycle friends, tell them about this place because they have a surprising selection of leather Harley jackets and shell jackets!
The reason I did not give this place 5 stars is simply because they really have not gone out of their way to create an exceptional customer experience for me. Like all of the other reviews indicate, you can spot the owner in a second. Not a happy camper.
Great store, prices, quality...
Read moreMy uncle was downsizing and we took his clothing - much of it Polo by RL (some vintage) & Brooks Brothers, Nautica/Hilfiger (older, so better quality),Tommy Bahama, Cole Haan , Johnson and Murphy and Bally shoes, etc and the clerk acted as if it was K Mart brand items. "The owner will have to decide on some of this" (as if it were rags). All be it we didn't look the best since we were cleaning out his house and closets at the time. I did find the store nicely organized and items seemed reasonable priced. Uncle didn't get as much as he thought he would (don't think we ever do when we do consignment) but was glad that the items were appreciated and re-loved. We have some other items and are on the fence about going back. Seems the entire staff needs some customer service skills.
I guess if you can over look rudeness to find deals, then this is the...
Read moreThe staff is great. They know me by name. The owner however followed me around the store for a while to purposefully seem unwelcoming. I’m using an Alias because of my social media following & presence. I genuinely like the store, and I want broadripple to have boutique stores. But the owner’s attitude towards my appearance is unacceptable. I work in Reputation Management & Social Media, And I’m trying really hard to not make my experience public. But I reassure I will be back, and If experience this treatment again I will be sure my friends at numerous news sources and online platforms are aware of distasteful the owner of this place is. I have videos of being followed around my last visit. So keep an eye out and be careful how you treat your neighbors, because some of us have more resources than you would believe. Can’t wait to shop...
