This might be one of my absolute FAVORITE little hidden gems in the Broad Ripple area of Indianapolis’ north side. I could not BELIVE I didn’t know about it sooner, until I did my research and it is quite the story. It’s located in-between Carrollton Ave and Guilford Blvd, just north of 61st street, and it’s absolutely beautiful! Seems like such a simple concept, but the scale and details make it something you absolutely MUST see in person. You can tell the main artists’ (@muckrock) heart and soul went into each unique creation, and it’s inspiring to see the impact her craft has had, not only on the local community, but on people worldwide. In this particular instance, she has completely transformed what one would usually view as a dark, scary alleyway, into a vibrant and welcoming addition to the ever-growing art scenes sprinkled throughout the Broad Ripple neighborhood. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing what it will look like when Spring arrives and the surroundings are in full bloom. And I’m even more excited to hear that the native European artist just might be back for another addition in June 2022. Yay!
