Finding your favourite tunes can take time. Too much time.

But Indy CD & Vinyl is perfect for when you crave deep selctions of new and used LPs, CDs and DVDs in both store and online!

So if you're looking for new music, classical, jazz or the latest DVD release - from metal to country - Indy CD & Vinyl is the place to be and make a good recommendation .💥💥💥💥💥

People also ask:

Which is better CD or vinyl?

Sound Quality

From a technical standpoint, digital CD audio quality is clearly superior to vinyl. CDs have a better signal-to-noise ratio (i.e. there is less interference from hissing, turntable rumble, etc.), better stereo channel separation, and have no variation in playback speed.

Is vinyl or CD more popular?

Vinyl album sales in the US exceeded those of CDs for the first time in 34 years in 2020, and new data suggests their buoyancy is continuing this year. According to a new report from entertainment analytics firm MRC Data, vinyl grew by 108% Stateside in the first six months of 2021 to 19.2 million.

Are vinyls worth it?

Is Vinyl Worth It? Vinyl records are worth it if you are someone who wants the best and enjoys collecting. Vinyl maintains its value while producing great sound and experience for its listeners. Drawbacks to consider for vinyl are maintenance, cost of equipment, and cost of albums.

Why do people buy vinyl?

Purchasing vinyl records and other forms of physical merchandise are great ways to support your favorite artists and help make sure that they can continue to produce their music. For music lovers that want to help immortalize their music outside the internet, vinyl records can do just that.

you skip songs on vinyl?

Skipping a song on a vinyl record increases the likelihood of damaging the vinyl record or the record player. You may accidentally press on the needle or stylus or probably even drop the stylus. The risks are unknown and are in your hands. Experts recommend forgoing the skipping process to...

Such a fun place to check out! I decided to hit up IC&,V for RSD this year and had a blast. I found what I wanted almost as soon as I walked in the door. The staff was very nice and I had a good time just browsing after I found what I wanted to grab off my list.

The only beef I had was the lack of more movie soundtracks, but that's not a rag against the store itself or the employees. They're just my favorite when it comes to music.

The record store nearest me no longer joins in for RSD, so it's off to Bripple from now on. It's only a 25 minute drive from Greenwood via the interstate. I just need to make sure I get there earlier next year since we ended up waiting in line to get in for an hour and a half or so, but again, that's not the fault of the store or the employees.

I don't understand why everyone thinks they're expensive. The non RSD exclusives I picked up would've been the same price or more if I had ordered them from some store online. There's also waiting days to get your order on top of pricey shipping costs.

The short version: They had what I wanted, the prices were fair, the selection is abundant, the staff was nice, the store is very boutique (my favorite preference for a physical media store), and I didn't feel rushed or pressured into buying something I didn't plan on picking up. I WILL be back, and not just...

Ok, these folks are 100% top notch. No questions asked. Their focus is on customer service A1. I am not a music geek or audiophile, and frankly get annoyed with the kids these days with all of their chitchat about which speaker does what, or which turntable has the cleanest whatever. All I know is that I like music and have some records that I wanted to listen to. Spotify and the others are all good to satisfy a need, but really only good for my drive home in my truck. Annie, Andy, and the crew listened to what I wanted, on a budget, & found a should setup for my situation. I can’t tell you what it is that I now have, but it’s a hundredfold better than what I had (no operable turntable for one). I had a budget and some old records. Now I can truly enjoy the records that I’ve had for decades, collecting dust, in addition to all of the options the shop offers (that’s a whole other story). Anything that your heart desires, Indy Cd & Vinyl has it, or will find it!

Final note: I bought my new system (turntable and Bluetooth speakers) over a year ago. I came back to write a review because they are tops! I will not buy music or equipment anywhere else. Ever again. Indy CD & Vinyl is much more that a record shop. They are our community neighbors, and more importantly, our friends, who listen and value our attention. Spend...
