There's a new culinary hotspot in town that goes by the name of Nando's, and trust me, you're going to want to add this one to your dining bucket list. Nestled conveniently off East 64th St in Broad Ripple, our recent visit turned out to be an unforgettable journey through a smorgasbord of Mexican and Brazilian delights, all thoughtfully presented and exploding with flavor. We started off by sampling their Caipirinha Flights - and let me tell you, they really nailed the balance between punchy cocktail flavors and a smooth finish. It was a kick-off that had us on the edge of our seats, eager to dive into what came next. Appetizers up next - homemade chips with two types of salsa and an addictive hot sauce, alongside a dish of Coxinha, AKA chicken croquettes. The salsas had this fresh, homemade vibe, while the croquettes were crunchy, lightly breaded, and loaded with succulent chicken - perfect starters to rev up our taste buds. For my main, I went for the Escondidinho de Frango, basically a Brazilian take on the Shepherd's pie. Mashed potatoes, melted cheese, and a side salad made it a comfort food dream come true. My partner went with Feijoada, Brazil's national dish with black beans, slow-cooked pork and beef, and a set of sides. Both of us were left swooning over our plates, scraping every last delicious morsel. But wait, there's more! We topped off our feast with a Romeo & Julieta - a no-bake, guava flavored cheesecake that was seriously out of this world. The real kicker? We found out that the desserts are handmade by the owner's mother herself, who's got a secret recipe and isn't telling! Interacting with one of the owners, you could sense the heart and soul they pour into Nando's. Every dish, every ingredient, every moment we spent there was testimony to their commitment to creating a dining experience that stands out. In short, Nando's is a gem. It's not just about eating; it's about immersing yourself in a vibrant culinary adventure. It's about food that's crafted with love and served with a genuine smile. So if you're on the lookout for somewhere new to try, do yourself a favor and book a table here. We already can't wait for round two at Nando's. Trust us; you won't be disappointed. P.S. -- I might not be a professional photographer, but I couldn't resist trying to capture the magic of our night at Nando's. When a place truly impresses me, I believe it's worth sharing every bit of the experience, from start to finish. So, in spite of my limited photography skills, I hope you enjoy these snapshots and get a small taste of the fantastic culinary journey that awaits you at Nando's.

Family of three here. Brazilian writing. TLDR: it's a great restaurant with super tasty proteins. Fantastic drinks. Amazing espresso. Best Brazilian food in town. Atmosphere Indoor decorations are beautiful. Outdoors are cozy and great with heaters on when it's cold out. Tables were clean and organized, with live flowers adding to the upbeat vibe. Lunch time reggaeton was for sure too much for my taste. Too early for a pure party vibe. Quite contrasting with the relaxing vibe. I know this is often employees trying to keep their energy up while also having music for everyone, but I'd totally go for samba, bossa nova, MPB, Liniker, calmer tunes. Service: pristine. Really. Nothing to add here but praise. They were very accommodating to our kid and customized his dish upon his request. Food: Pão de queijo comes in 6, I think. They're large and parmesan based. Must have. Coxinha comes in 6 mini ones. The item itself is delicious and worthy. But they place over a garlic cream underneath that I'd say lick or clear it first and experience the coxinha without before saying you don't like it. 4/5. Chicken stroganoff is very authentic. A whole lot of chicken. It could be a bit heavier in cream, but I found it 4.5/5 already this way. The stick fries are innovative and less crispy than they seem, but I like it too. Enchiladas Rojas steaks are fabulous. The cheese, salad, enchiladas themselves were tasty and authentic too. Beans and rice were a bit bland. Maybe to be mixed together with the tasty meat instead of eaten separately. Moqueca de peixe is 10/10. Really tasty and well made. Closer to Bahia style, if you're experienced. You can ask to go heavier in dende. Escondidinho de frango was very delicious 5/5. Chicken fingers are 5/5. The flan (Pudim) is 5/5 too. Perfect size. We didn't take the picanha yet, but we'll be back for it. We saw it and the portions are huge and smell so good. Other customers were quite happy enjoying it. Looking forward to it! PS: the menu might not be descriptive enough for foreigners, so pictures could help.

WOW. Really, WOW. My family and I had an amazing dinner experience at Nando’s last night. We went a hair early (5:45), YAY - because it filled up RIGHT after we ordered. My non-adventurous son ordered the Queso, which was very good. My husband and I ordered the Pastel (empanadas) and were given the option of chicken, cheese, beef or a mix of the three. We ordered one of each; all three were good, but the beef was the tastiest. My son ordered the Sinaloa Shrimp tacos. I did not try it, but he liked it and wiped his plate clean with a Pão De Queijo (gluten free cheese bun). I ordered the Moqueca De Peixe (seasonal fish stew). As a Thai gal, I just love anything swimming in a savory coconut sauce. This was rich, delicious and very filling. I, as well, mopped up the tasty sauce with a cheesy bun (I’m not sure if this violates anyone’s sense of etiquette, but creamy, coconut-ty, delicious sauce cannot be wasted.) The absolute star of our meal was the Feijoada (bean and pork stew, which is the national dish of Brazil). The flavor was amazing and superior to any pork and bean dish I’ve ever had. The accompaniments of rice and collard greens, toasted manioc and especially the pico de gallo, really kicked the dish up even more. The drinks were great. We ordered caipirinhas and caipiroskas, both equally good. Our server was prompt, friendly and engaging, and took the time to explain the dishes to us, even how to eat them (the feijoado and its toppings). The owner spoke with us, checking on our meal, sharing the history of the restaurant and the family that runs it (Grandma is cooking in the back!). The personal attention was lovely. He even sent my husband home with complimentary pico de gallo to enjoy with his leftovers (which was a lot). The prices were on the steeper side, but the entree portions were quite large. From the leftovers, we enjoyed three more meals Considering the quality of the food and the portions, I felt pretty satisfied with the prices. I’m so glad we tried Nandos and will certainly be back.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Nando's, an enchanting Mexican-Brazilian restaurant/bar, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked through the doors of Nando's, I was captivated by the vibrant atmosphere and the inviting aroma wafting from the kitchen. Every aspect of my dining experience at Nando's was exceptional, leaving me with no choice but to give it a resounding five-star review.

First and foremost, the menu at Nando's is an absolute masterpiece, showcasing the perfect marriage of Mexican and Brazilian cuisine. The culinary fusion at Nando's creates a symphony of flavors that took my taste buds on an unforgettable journey. From savory tacos bursting with traditional Mexican fillings to succulent Brazilian churrasco grilled to perfection, every dish at Nando's was a work of art that showcased the skill and creativity of the talented chefs.

The service at Nando's is equally commendable. The staff members at Nando's were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience at Nando's was flawless, catering to my dietary preferences and providing excellent recommendations. Their passion for the food and dedication to customer satisfaction at Nando's truly set them apart.

The ambiance of Nando's restaurant/bar is an absolute delight. The decor at Nando's seamlessly blends Mexican and Brazilian elements, creating a warm and inviting space that transports you to the heart of both cultures. The vibrant colors, lively music, and comfortable seating at Nando's contribute to a convivial atmosphere that is perfect for a casual lunch or a fun night out with friends.

In addition to the exceptional food and ambiance, the bar at Nando's deserves a special mention. The mixologists at Nando's are true artists, crafting imaginative cocktails that perfectly complemented the flavors of the cuisine. From traditional margaritas with a twist to caipirinhas bursting with freshness, each sip at Nando's was a delight for the senses.

Finally, I must mention the attention to detail that permeates every aspect of Nando's. From the carefully curated playlist that sets the mood to the impeccable presentation of each dish, it's clear that the owners and staff at Nando's have poured their hearts into creating an experience that leaves a lasting impression.

In conclusion, Nando's is a true gem that deserves every bit of its five-star rating. Whether you're a fan of Mexican cuisine, Brazilian fare, or simply looking for a unique and unforgettable dining experience, Nando's has it all. The fusion of flavors, exemplary service, inviting ambiance, and meticulous attention to detail at Nando's combine to create a culinary haven that will leave you craving for more. I cannot recommend Nando's...

A friend recommended this restaurant when I visited Indianapolis. She said if I wanted to experience authentic Mexican and Brazilian cuisine, this is it! I walked into a warm and inviting place and the manager, Kayce, greeted me. I decided to sit at the bar. She provided expert recommendations and definitely knew the menu. Adan was a great bartender and was a lot of fun. Although Sam was not my server, he was easy to talk to and I felt like I was at someone's home. (I came in the middle of a Sunday afternoon, so it was easy to converse with the staff.)

I started off with the Calpirinha Flight based on Kayce and Adan's input on the various flavors and that the alcohol was true Cachaca, not Rum as served at some other establishments. I had Calpirinhas in Brazil, and I can vouch for the authenticity of these drinks! The selection included lime, guava, mango and kiwi; all good, but kiwi was my favorite (which I saved as my dessert!)

The meal was amazing! I ordered the Enchiladas Rojas, which was made up of grilled chicken topped with homemade salsa roja, cheese and pico de gallo, served with rice and beans. The beans were served in a tortilla chip-like "bowl". The entire meal was so flavorful I cleaned my plate completely (see pic)! Kayce also brought over three sauces to accompany the meal and explained each one. I agreed with her completely that the "orange" sauce, which was made especially for enchiladas definitively complemented this meal to perfection. The other sauces were quite good also. Kayce explained that the owners, Christiano and Elizabeth, strive to achieve the true authentic taste of Brazil, and in fact, Christiano's mother still assists in the kitchen from time to time to make sure the recipes meet this goal. In my opinion, the food exceeds these goals!

My friend told me to see if the owners, Christiano and Elizabeth were there (she got to know them based on her numerous visits there), but sadly, they were taking a well-deserved day off. As such, I decided to write what I hope is a superlative review to show them my gratitude. Please stop into this restaurant if you are in the Broad Ripple area of Indianapolis. I'm so glad my friend highly recommended this place to me and now I'm doing the same for you. The staff is amazing, the food is authentic and outstanding, and the ambiance is great. What more...
