I Have BEEN Here PLENTY Of TIMES Not Only For SHOPPING But Also For SELLING!!! I Loved The Fact That I Was Able To Find Some Nice Jean's For Me, That Ended Up Fitting Me PERFECTLY & I Have A Very Hard Time Finding Jeans That Fit Me PERFECTLY (Cause I'm So Little)!!! BUT I HAVE RECENTLY BEEN UP THERE REPEATEDLY WITH VERY NICE (NOT CHEAP) STUFF TO SELL & EVERYTIME THEY REFUSE TO BUY ANYTHING FROM ME!!! I HAVE EVEN BROUGHT IN STUFF THAT STILL HAD THE TAGS ON THEM & THEY STILL REFUSED TO BUY ANYTHING!!! When I Have BEEN THERE TO DO SOME SHOPPING I WAS SEEING STUFF ON THERE RACKS (CLOTHES & ESPECIALLY SHOES) THAT SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN BOUGHT NOR PUT ON THE RACKS TO SELL!!! AFTER ALL OF THIS IT HAS MADE ME BELIEVE THAT THE PEOPLE WORKING THERE ARE EXPECAILLY BUYING FROM THEIR FRIENDS/FAMILY or CERTAIN PEOPLE THEY CHOOSE TO BUY FROM!!! BECAUSE THE LAST TIME I BROUGHT IN A BIG TOTE FULL OF VERY NICE STUFF (EVEN SOMETHING'S WITH TAG'S STILL ON THEM) THAT I KNOW WOULD HAVE SOLD!!! SO I RUN IT IN TO THEM AND RUN OVER TO ONCE UPON A CHILD (Since I Had Dropped Off The Exact Same Size Tote With Them The Evening Before!) OF COURSE ONCE UPON A CHILD BOUGHT EVERYTHING THAT WAS IN THE TOTE (EXCEPT FOR 1 or 2 ITEMS!) WHILE I WAS IN ONCE UPON A CHILD GETTING MY TOTE BACK & THE MONEY FOR SELLING STUFF TO THEM! I RECIEVED MY TEXT MESSAGE FROM PLATO'S CLOSET SAYING THAT THEY WERE DONE GOING THROUGH MY TOTE (IT HAD NOT EVEN BEEN TEN MINUTES SINCE I HAD GIVEN PLATO'S CLOSET MY TOTE!!! SO HOW IN THE WORLD DID YOU GO THROUGH MY BIG HEAVY TOTE (THAT WAS FULL) WITHIN THAT VERY SMALL AMOUNT OF TIME??? I TELL YOU WHY!!! BECAUSE THEY DID NOT GO THROUGH IT & I COULD TELL THAT THEY DIDN'T WHEN I OPENED IT TO LOOK INSIDE (EVERYTHING WAS PRETTY MUCH IN THE SAME ORDER I HAD PUT IT IN & NONE OF THE CLOTHES WERE ALL MESSED UP LIKE USUAL!!!) THIS HAD UPSET ME TO THE POINT WHERE I DON'T EVEN WANT TO GO IN THERE TO DO MY SHOPPING FOR MY ALMOST GROWN KID'S NOR MYSELF!!! PLATO'S CLOSET NEEDS TO REEVALUATE IT'S STORE, EMPLOYEES AND IT'S STOCK!!! I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK UNLESS SOMETHING CHANGES!!! I AM TALKING ABOUT THE ONE ON WASHINGTON STREET RIGHT BESIDE ONCE UPON A CHILD!!!...

Nice store, nice shoes and clothes and at a good price. Except just two little small issues. The two little girls that work the counter, or at least that’s where they were at, at the counter threading each others eyebrows while the store was busy. Every other employee was working and greeting customers etc. those two little girls were at the counter thinking their ish didn’t stink. I kindly asked if the shoes on the wall were available now because a few years back the shoes on the wall below the sneak peak sign weren’t available yet but would be soon. Both of them looked at me like I was stupid and acted as if I interrupted whatever the hell they had going on and then looked at each other like “why would she just ask that, is she stupid” and then of course giggled as if they were above somebody. Those little girls need humbled because a year ago I would have jumped over the counter, they would have gotten their feelings hurt and went crying home to mommy while im being booked for beating up a minor. I could really make them feel real stupid but I’m not gonna talk about how ridiculous their outfits looked. Im just not gonna go there. The fact that one of them had a booger hanging out their nose and the other had something black on her front tooth while they were trying to look cute being rude and disrespectful to customers was real entertaining. Plato’s closet on east Washington, y’all need to do better and not have little hood rats at the counter. I was there to buy 5 pairs of shoes at least for 5 different kids that come from a not so wealthy family. I was hoping to do that tonight at your store but couldn’t risk getting a charge so I had to leave. I’ll never shop there again as long as those little thots are there. We dropped off 2 separate buys for my daughter and her friend. 90% of each (over 100 items) was Hollister, Aeropostle, Abercrombie, Delias. Nothing was taken for buying but a pair of shoe boots with spikes on the heel that my daughter (very trendy) said looked like stripper boots.

I can hear the disbelievers lol saying "maybe your things we're dirty, out of style, worn... I have been in the resale business for 20+ years in a franchise company that ALSO OWNS Platos. All items were freshly laundered and IRONED!!! Only 6 things were actually unfolded after our buy was done! I get the fact that their clientele dictate their inventory and just think it's sad that being soo close to Geist they are missing out on an entire demographic!

We shopped after picking up and were shocked that all the girls shoes we saw were platform "stripper" heels and there were NO options on basic/standard apparel. We went through sizes 1,3,5,7 and found 2 pairs of black shorts and only one pair of khaki/biege both men (sz 30 and 32) and womens. Found multiple pairs for womens that looked "hand cut" up from the crotch to the hips making them inappropriately revealing!

Hilariously my daughters friend had a brand new Vera Bradley bag in the bottom of her items to sell and it was in the same spot in her tote when we left, they didn't even look!

Took our items to a different location and they took EVERYTHING and paid over 100$ each!!! Sad that this location tarnishes the brand and concept of Platos and I won't shop at this location again due to their poor discretion in style and quality...
