Skyline Chili — Restaurant in Indianapolis

First off the waitress Abby was a doll. She was kind patient and a true gem. She was the only one waiting on tables and she did an amazing job. As for the food. Im not a cinnamon in savory food type of person but my bf wanted me to try it so i did. I got the chilli 5 way and the chicken ranch wrap. My bf got 2 chilli dogs and a small 3 way chilli. It was tasty i ate all my chilli Now if i compare it to my favorite 5 way chilli from steak and shake it would clearly lose. But not bad. My bf said it wasn't the same chilli he had from them before. Will i come back yes if Abby is working cause she was a delight. I do wish the food was hotter yes! It came so fast i expected it to be a scorcher but it was just luke warm. I have been to Skyline Chiles in Cincinnati and never had this issue! I went to the Skyline on East Washington St in Indy The spaghetti was warm and undercooked, sauce warm, cheese coney was uncooked on the inside but burnt on the outside with the bun stale and the cheese never seemed to melt in the slightest bit! It is like this branch is never up to par with other Skylines. The only reason I go here is I love Skyline and it is the closest to me! Poorest example of how to run a restaurant! My favorite style of chili. I always try to stop at a Skyline when I'm traveling in OH,IN, KY. The 4-way Chili with beans and Oyster crackers is a favorite, as is the Cheese Coni Dogs. It's nice that you can order smaller sizes of the chili so you can sample more items. The restaurants are clean and the food is prepared in plain view.
