The Village Dove — Local services in Indianapolis

Where do I start. Words can not express my experience with The Village Dove, the owners and employee/s that I was fortunate enough to have communicated and interacted with. I had been searching for a particular item locally, (where I live in Pennsylvania) that would pay my respects and show my love for my lost Dog Jake that passed in late 2018. After searching for over two years, I ran across The Village Dove. My prayers were answered! They had the item I had searched for, for a long time. These people, that lived and had a business 3 states away cared and did for me what no one within minutes from my own home could or would not. They treated me like a friend. They were genuinely interested in my story and they took the time to help me. Even after receiving the first item damaged by the shipper, they didn't give up. They could have walked away from the transaction and left me with the disappointment and ongoing search. They did the opposite. They actually gave me hope in humanity - that there are still people in this country that actually care. Working at home with my Wife, a package showed up (but neither of us had ordered anything) at the house in my name from - The Village Dove?! We didn't know how to react because this was so unexpected. We just starred at each other and wondered. See, although they had kept me updated as to the status of the damaged claim (they submitted), I had doubts in the shipper. We didn't say a word to each other as we delicately opened the package (which seemed to take forever) and unwrapped what was the single most important item I had ever looked for - unbroken and beautiful! Now, where it belongs, with my boy Jake (actually where he lies), I have been given closure to something that had left an emptiness within me. Two and a half years later and three states away, I had been given closure - the ultimate gift for the soul. My new friends at The Village Dove! Thank you (and you know who you are) for caring, being the people you are, giving me closure and happiness! Not a very Christian place for a Christian store. Went here to purchase a gift for a friend getting baptized. Was at first greeted friendly enough but when told that I was unable to wear a mask because of a medical condition I have, I was told I needed to leave. I kept my 6 feet distance from everyone out of respect, but was ultimately discriminated against for a medical condition and told to leave. Will not be coming back or recommending to anyone.
