La Casa Grande Mexican Grill and Bar — Restaurant in Indianapolis

I went with my wife for the first time and as we entered I noticed how nice the inside was, very pleasing to the eyes, clean and spacious . The second thing I noticed was that we were greeted with a smile immediately and asked if we wanted a table or booth. We chose the booth and were seated immediately. Wow! We were impressed right away. Our server brought the chips and salsa out right away . We asked for the queso and it arrived right away. Excellent queso and chips. I ordered the Chimichanga Acapulco and my wife ordered the street tacos. My Chimichanga was the best I’ve ever had. My wife loved her tacos as well and we shared the Margarita which was nice and smooth. Great date night. We will be back. The restrooms are spotless as well. Great, Food, Atmosphere. It was El Meson Mexican restaurant they’ve only been open five weeks. Food was outstanding. I ordered Dave’s combo which was a combination of rice beans, taco enchilada burrito, Chile, Riano taquito, etc. everything how unique and very good flavor I think sure the quesadilla grande meat was tender real perfectly green peppers onions Monterey Jack cheese rice on the side. Unbelievable service by Jorge very friendly staff. Very clean inside highly recommend it.

We used to go to the Mexican restaurant that shares the same parking lot we had to stop going there because the food had changed and gone downhill so bad last time we had dinner there the Acapulco cheesesteak the meat was tough and cold, and the combination dinner I had was bland and cold The staff was still very friendly, but the food kept getting worse.

We were regulars of the restaurant before it became La Casa Grande and we love it now even more! This new owner has done such a great job with the menu! The food is amazing and has more flavor. I brought my kids back and they said the same as well as friends that I told to go. The red sauce on my enchiladas has more depth. I used to just scrape it aside, but now I practically lick the plate. The guacamole is to die for. My son had the ribeye and shrimp and the steak was a perfect medium rare. My husband had a chicken and mushrooms dish and it was also amazing. I had a garlic butter shrimp dinner and the shrimp were colossal. My daughter always gets the steak tacos and said they were the best. My other son had a chicken mole dinner and he said he wants to take extra sauce home. We went twice in 1 week and will definitely keep coming back. Their lunch specials are also great....
