I had a very bad experience. I was directly lied to and felt like the manager shared too much of his life story with me. I went in and specifically asked to be shown what was available in Droids by HTC. The store manager was the one helping me and told me HTC currently has nothing out and they have gone downhill as a company. There would be a new phone out from them at some point, but he wouldn't recommend it for a number of reasons. So he told me that if I wanted a Droid there were 3 options he would recommend and then proceeded to tell me his life story and all the places he's lived and owned cell phone stores that were cooler than Indiana. (I felt like I was being hit on more than educated on cell phones) I selected a phone and disliked it after using it for a while. I went to a different store to exchange it and saw on their display an HTC Rezound (Droid)! It was exactly what I wanted to begin with. the salesperson told me it was a great phone and I found some strong reviews about it online. Unfortunately, that store was not one that shared inventory with the store I purchased from so I would have to go back to the original store. I was told that the restocking fee could be waived because the other store did not carry the HTC and would have to order it. Since this would take a day or two, it would put me over the 14 day grace period. But since it wasn't my fault that the store didn't carry it, it should not be a problem to get the fee waived. I went in and ordered the phone and worked with Noah. He called the manager and proceeded to tell me, "It's not something we normally do, but we will do it for you since you were told that." When the phone came in, I went in to pick it up and a different salesman was there. He seemed immediately defensive in telling me there would be a restocking fee, as though he knew this was going to be an issue. He got the manager on the phone who apparently said, "It's not going to happen." I had the salesman call Noah who had told me DIRECTLY that the restocking fee would not be charged and he denied it on the phone! (Assuming he actually called the guy. I never did hear another voice on the other end of the line) Following this I see the manager's name popping up on his phone in text messages. I couldn't see what they said, but I can only imagine. So, is the manager just a jerk and unreasonable, or is he mad that telling me his life story and about his successes didn't make me interested in him on a personal level? Read moreMy IPhone 16 Pro Max arrived today as noted in the pics attached. Went to go pick it up and they stated they didn’t receive any phones today which is obviously not true. Then asked if I had gotten a call from them to let me know my phone was there. I said no, no one called but cause the tracking says it came I’m here to get it. They then proceeded to go check the back and the Mexican restaurant next door “in case they delivered it there..” why? The tracking says very clearly it was signed for and delivered here at 10:52am and you open at 10am, “but that can’t be cause the person who signed for it isn’t in.” Well obviously he was cause it says he was, but sure whatever call me when it comes in. I go home and call Verizon to let them know what’s up cause my $1000+ phone has magically disappeared and I ain’t paying for it cause I didn’t get it. I tell the agent what happened and all the details of how we ordered the phone (and why my husbands phone upgrade was sent to my home and my phone was sent to the store) the Agent looks through the shipping and then says, “Oh! Looks like they SOLD your phone, I see it here attached to another persons account.” Cool, cool, cool, so they STOLE my phone and SOLD it to another customer. Awesome job, didn’t think I would find out huh? 👏👏👏 It took everything I had not to lose my mind when I was in this store tonight being lied to straight to my face. Thankfully, Verizon took care of it for me and made it right. Now I’m back to waiting for my phone that I should have in my hands right now. I was asked about some of my work environments during my upgrade process. I am a firm believer in the Otterbox protector. I was presented a new option for my phone, a liquid glass protector. A really nice sales upgrade that I love and never have to worry about my screen getting scratched and changing protectors. I upgraded to the S8+, which the screen rolls over the side of the phone. Hard to get a good fit for the screen protector. Way to ask and know your customer's needs Brayton.
I would suggest this store and staff to all my friends, family and customers.
