You have now lost us as a customer at this Southport Subway location. I am not even a fan of Subway, but we come here for our daughter. Last time, before quarantine started, not only was your employee rude, but they messed up our sandwiches. My 11 year old daughter is very picky, so when I use the online app to CLEARLY mark what NOT to put on the sandwich, yet it's still on there...this is an obvious careless oversight on your company's part. I took a survey last time, and the Franchise owner wrote back apologizing, but a lot of good that did. Then tonight. We ordered drinks and a sandwich for our daughter (which the sandwich was messed up again, no big surprise). The store closes at 6:45pm due to Covid. We ordered in PLENTY of time online, and were quoted 6:40 for pickup, and even showed up early, only to have the employee chastise us for ordering and/or showing up at close. We were there BEFORE close. YOUR app let us order. I used to waitress in a restaurant years ago, and while having a party of 15-20 come in 1 minute before close really sucked, you dealt with it. It's business. We weren't even rude like that when we showed up. You weren't yet closed, and you had plenty of time to make the sandwich before close. If you don't like the job, not my problem. But without us, you would not have that job and you made us feel like we were an inconvenience. It is obvious you don't think you need our business nor do you want it. Read moreIf I could give 0 stars I would! RUDE, RUDE, RUDE! That's the owner! So I go in there today and start to place my order, I have a sheet of coupons in my hand. The owner walks up and says let me see coupon. So I hand it over turns out coupon is expired by just a few days. Now I have used these within 30 days at other locations as almost anywhere will honor coupon if it is within 30 days. She says she's not going to honor it. So as I'm looking to see what the normal prices are for these sandwiches I'm going to order, I hear her talking to the employee, I know even though it's not English she's talking about me. and how I come in with expired coupons, and I'm too cheap to pay full price. Easily, even with the coupons, my order would have been $60 because of her rudeness I decided I was taking my money somewhere else. I will not be back to this Subway. If they weren't making the sandwiches right in front of you I would have thought they would spit in it, that's how rude they are. I've been here a few other times as it's close to my house and the one that I used to go to closed. Read moreI had no issues with this Subway until the woman who appeared to be in charge messed up my online order. I went to pick up my food and she didn’t toast my sub. I calmly and nicely said “excuse me, but I ordered that toasted”. She snapped that she’d put it in the microwave and I kindly asked could she toast it. She did, but she clearly was put out with my request because she slammed the tray down, tossed my food in the bag, and was rude as could be after. We all have bad days, so I wasn’t too upset. After that we noticed little things being messed up. For example, if I ordered extra cheese she’d make it with extra meat. If I ordered light on the onions, they would literally be covering the sandwich. Not once after the toasting incident did she hand out food to us. She would just slam it in the counter. The last straw came when not only did she make my husband’s sub on the wrong bread, but she doubled the amount of meat on my tuna sub, gave me little to no cheese, and the thing was such a mess you could hardly eat it.
