I love craft stores. Michael's has honestly never really been a favorite, but I went looking for a particular item because they were having a sale. (Up to 70% off)! When I walked in the door, the store was an absolute mess! Maybe I went too early because there were boxes, plastic tie stripping, and just stuff everywhere! In many parts of the store, it was almost impossible to navigate my grocery basket. I picked up a few items that I really didn't need, but since they were on sale, I figured it's always good to have extra craft item readily available. When I went to check out, there was no line. In fact, there weren't many people in the store at all. But the cashier was very nice and polite. I had a coupon for 50% off one regular priced item. The coupon wouldn't scan! Long story short, the cashier had to cancel the transaction and rescan everything twice. A total of three times, and the total was different each time. I finally had her cancel everything. I purchased one item and left the store very irritated. I'm going to be truthful and say I'm done with Michael's. There are several other craft stores that have a much better selection of literally everything. I can't recommend this...
Read moreI'm a regular customer at this michaels not because of preference but it is the closest michaels available to me the lines are always super long! Because theres always only 2 cashiers its rare when there is more than 2 at that its always atleast 1 of the 2 cashiers with an attitude i never write reviews unless the service was excellent or mediocre this one is for mediocre service 1st of all the cashier that rang me up told me i got the wrong items for the shirts i purchased again im a regular what makes him think i dont know what im purchasing 2nd theres 2 coupons available today why what for if both cant be used he said only 1 could be used per transaction i kindly asked if he could do separate transactions for me then he denied and said i would have to get back in line after I already waited almost 25min ummm no thanks! His tone was so condescending im almost at the point of just taking that extra drive to not have to deal with their mess anymore after all the money ive spent here they cant honor 2 coupons on separate items really it would be 1 coupon...
Read moreOrdered online at the Inglewood CA location. Went to pickup an hour later. Was told it would take up to two more hours. I was in a tight time window but moved other things around to make that possible. I called when I pulled up about 4 hours after ordering and was hung up on four times before finally got through. The same employee came out to tell me that it was in the current group of orders they were pulling but it would be another 45 minutes. I could not talk to a manager unless I called again and got through because they will not come out of the building and I could not get the small item myself because customers were not allowed in. I was goated to cancel the order instead of bothering. The worst customer service I have experienced anywhere in quite some time! Communicating effectively is clearly not a priority and over five hours (and waiting) to go to the aisle they list on the order and take this handheld item out is apparently...
