Simply Salad — Local services in Inglewood

Love the concept and I am glad there is a healthy lunch option for those who would like something other than a burger or fried food. They seem to be fairly new and the location is really clean and open.

That being said, I was REALLY disappointed with the fact that they give their customers old brown avocados in their food. The employee was putting old avocados on multiple bowls. As any novice cook knows, avocados have a strong bad taste when they start to go bad. When I took a bite of my wrap, all I tasted was the bad avocado because the salads are chopped and it was all mixed in together. I ended up eating half the wrap and threw away the rest because of the taste.

Terrible! The staff there was cool, some nice young ladies. BUT the bowl was TERRIBLE! I ordered 2 chicken Caesar salad bowls and It’s NOTHING BUT CHICKEN IN THIS BOWL, BARELY any Lettuce at all smh. We had to dig thru it to find the little bit of lettuce it did have. I’m here to eat healthy but also lose weight, and I feel like they tryna fatten people up with those bowls. Like I said the staff was cool, but they’re young and from my experience young ppl ALWAYS mess up orders because they don’t care as much because they don’t want to be there at work. I can never eat here again, and to be honest this visit was so bad that I might not ever visit Simple Salad again, maybe Saladfarm 🤷🏾‍♂️ Idk...

I had the BEST experience at your Gardena location with a young lady named Yessie but I haven't seen her in a while so I went to your new location in Inglewood and found Yessie and she made my day. I forgot to scan my app so I asked her if there was a way I could upload my receipt and she said sure, let me scan my app and she let me know that I could also use my coupon. That prompted me to ask her name, when she said Yessie, i instantly knew I was in the hands of the BEST customer service there is. Yessie needs a raise!!!!!! She makes me feel very valued as a consumer. I'll be going to the Inglewood location from now on....
