With Covid going around it is decent to let people know if you are ill and many will screen you beforehand and not let you inside. I was decent enough to let staff know I had just started feeling ill the night before not even within 24 hours & called first thing in the morning to give them the respect to tell them I am pregnant and had a temp that had recently happened, but I still could come into my appointment since they make you pay ahead of time & didn't want to be penalized, plus waited a month for this appointment. I was coldly told by the "intern/uncertified training massager" to NOT come into my appointment that due to their (pre-covid) policies that I would still be charged the full amount regardless. I was told I would get a call by the owner to discuss and was going to send my bf in my place but my email was returned back saying nobody in your household can be there for 2 weeks if someone has had a fever, but no call back to ask if anyone else could take my spot. Never had I missed or been late for an appointment & was trying to do the right thing & let them know but got penalized anyways. I then requested whatever remaining money was left be returned since I no longer want to return, only to find out they will not return to my payment method & I have to use at their location. I honestly am waiting for an email for an amount since no amount was told to me other than I have to pay. She said nobody filled my spot even though I called this morning but no 2 minute quick notice was even placed to try & help me as I see regularly happen for other unfilled spots on email/FB nor I could I get my own replacement knowing I paid that much for nothing. I'm just disappointed that a business is not understanding or even charged a type of fee or less due to something I had no control over. As a small business owner within my own family I can completely understand people who do it regularly, but after being a long time client I sadly realized that there was no compassion for actual clients but was just a meaningless paycheck. I now wish I would not have called & went there bc money over honesty, but a close $100 learned lesson. I do believe in how you treat people & hope they see the same compassion when they are sick or their children have unforseen & unexpected issues, as I will remember in our small business establishment. This is only for people to know if they are sick, other than unexpected events not a horrible place for a massage despite the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFor 10 years I have struggled with severe back pain. I have done rounds of physical therapy, had MRIās and x-rays, nerve testing, trigger point injections, been a part of the Mary Free Bed pain clinic and seen spinal specialists. I was on all kinds of pain meds and they could not tell me what was wrong. I started seeing Tori at Cloud 9 in a last ditch effort at relief. After a few sessions she stated she thought my pain might possibly not be in my back but rather deferred pain from something in my abdomen. She started working on my stomach muscles which made a big difference but she still encouraged me to talk to my doctor about this theory. I finally did and they decided to check my gallbladder on a whim and sure enough it was in drastic need of coming out. I have been pain free since and I give Tori all the credit for being knowledgeable enough to suspect what all the specialists, doctors and therapists couldnāt figure out! I HIGHLY, highly recommend Tori and Cloud 9...
