Today is my 21st birthday and the first time I've ever received flowers. My fiance's wonderful mother bought some to have delivered to me. They called me at 12:30 telling me they would arrive in a couple hours. I didn't have anywhere to be, so that was fine. At 4:30, I decided to call and check in. I was told the delivery guy just picked them up and was on his way. Almost an hour later, I got a call from the store that ended after one ring. I took that as my call to head downstairs since I was told he would call when he arrived. I get down and am greeted in a very rude manner. He asked me if I had been on my phone the whole time or just wasn't paying attention at all.. I was confused. He said he had been downstairs calling me for 20 minutes and asked someone else who lives in my apartment building to try to contact me. He was SO unbelievably rude to me. I felt horrible because I thought maybe I just didn't have signal and missed his calls. I got upstairs and realized they wrote down the wrong contact number on the card. The number he had been trying to call was 1 digit off from mine. I called and spoke with Tamy the owner. I apologized for the confusion and told her that he had been trying to call the wrong number. I also let her know that he was very rude. She apologized and said that he had the number that they were given. Wrong. They had the right number seeing as they had called me earlier in the day and I answered right away. Someone wrote down the wrong number and that caused a lot of confusion. Read moreIf I could give a negative 5 stars I would. I called and ordered a large arrangement for Valentine's day for my wife to be delivered to her workplace. At 5pm I asked her if she received anything today and she said no. I contacted the store and a worker stated they were still getting orders out, that they had 150 orders to deliver. I just asked for them to please get it delivered soon and call back if they couldn't. The delivery driver called me at 6 to let me know she tried and couldn't get in. I told her that was odd they have been delivering all day. She said she would keep trying. At 7pm they still hadn't been delivered and my wife gets off at 730. I called and spoke with the owner Tammy and she was extremely rude and condescending. I asked her that if she couldn't get it delivered she could refund me. I had hoped that my wife's co workers could see the arrangement. At 720 the delivery driver called to let me know they were delivered. Thank god for her! I would stay away from this place. I ordered 18 long stem roses and were given 12. This is INSANE! The management is as poor as it gets. How people get away with being rude to their customers and still get customers is beyond me....
Read moreIt makes me sad to write this review, as I have been going to Flowerama to get our senior flowers for about 10 years now, and because they were always so nice and helpful, I would go to them for all of my flower needs. I have always purchased the larger bouquets and then had them split them into smaller bouquets. I have always paid the extra for water tubes or filler to make the bouquets nice. I was told today that they can no longer do any other service, except wrap bouquets as they come out of the case. I was very rudely told that I could pay the per bouquet price for what I wanted, and I should consider myself lucky because they should be charging valentine prices already. I totally understand the need to make money at their business, but I do not understand the rudeness and sacrificing business, essentially over 8 pieces of wrapping paper. The experience was bad enough that I felt compelled to write this, I will never purchase anything there ever again and I will tell everyone I know to not go...
