Subway — Restaurant in Iowa City

The person training/cashier was VERY nasty & unprofessional. She’s was annoyed before she started dealing with me. I was patient there were 3 ppl training and I waited while a trainee was putting their credentials in the system. She asked me my order, I pointed to the window to the only special there and also the Philly sandwich. She rang up the wrong thing, I asked about a cup (the special on the window was a combo) and she got upset and said that’s not what she rang up, she now has to void the order. I reminded her I pointed to the window. With an attitude she said there’s a lot going on, I pointed out she had a bad attitude, that I did point to the window at the special. She was very nasty making a scene, so I said I didn’t want the food to put my money back on my card. She said she did, I asked her for confirmation that she did, She furious, she threw everything in the garbage, the sandwiches, the receipts. I keep asking for the void receipt, she finally went in the garbage, opened it and slammed it on the counter. All while trainees are watching. I guess I was the one she blew up on cause she couldn’t handle the stress of training ppl in the middle of rush hour. I did nothing to her she wasn’t paying attention to what I told her my order was & instead of being apologetic she got very upset.. And on top of that I have to wait a while before the money goes back on my card...

Manager BRIAN talks about all his employees VERY DEGRADING. HIRED ME BASED OFF OF MY PHYSICAL LOOKS AND WITHOUT ME FILLING OUT APPLICATION. CAUGHT BRIAN NUMEROUSLY UNDRESSING ME WITH HIS EYES. IS MENTALLY and VERBALLY ABUSIVE. MANIPULATES and LIES to make himself look good. BRIBES HIS EMPLOYEES TO LIE FOR HIM. HE made INAPPROPRIATE comments to me reguarding how I look. (Sexual Harassment )TURNOVER RATE as far as employees is very high. FAILS to follow protocol. Doesn't care what goes on in store while he is NOT PRESENT WHICH IS OFTEN. ALLOWS workers to come to work UNDER INFLUENCE of DRUGS. I brought that to his attention and he did absolutely NOTHING about it. Has PHYSICALLY put his hand on me 3/19/18. Tries to cover his messy tracks. Allowed for me to bring my child to work while I was on the clock. Talks POORLY of regular customers. FAILS to TRAIN his WORKERS properly and so much more that I will not mention. WHEN I ASKED TO CONTACT OWNERS HE REFUSED TO PROVIDE ME WITH DIRECT INFORMATION. BE AWARE PLEASE. THIS GUY IS A CROOK! This subway is HORRIBLE. I have been there a couple of times, since working up here. They first time, well it was a normal subway experience.

The second time they had labor helpers in there that didn't know what they were doing. Not to their fault, but the one actual employee was too busy to give direction. Then the 12" sandwhich had half a scoop of meat. The labor helper even asked "if they had more in back, it wasn't enough?". But was told "nope, it'll be fine".

Tried one last time after that. They two people working took about 15 min to make a 6" sandwhich, for a lady ahead of us. She finally gave up and told them " I'll cook the bacon myself" lol! Then came our sandwhiches. Mmmm nothing out of ordinary, except they went in the oven, came out the oven, but weren't actually toasted.
