Ollie's Bargain Outlet — Local services in Iowa City

People are like, the store is dingy. But whatever because rent is high everywhere and I respect Ollie’s being real with them selves. They’re new in this community so when they grow, they’ll upgrade. The staffs got good rapport with each other and customers so that’s always a plus.

Anyways, I actually found some good and inexpensive finds. Ollies has a little bit of everything. It’s inventory that you can find in other retail stores in past seasons and Ollie’s has it at a discount.

I found some cool homegoods items and I adore their book section ( I don’t usually buy them bc they’re expensive but Ollie’s makes me want to start a library). If you’re on a budget , Ollie’s probably has is it.

Let’s be honest, we all could save a dollar these days. So I think everyone can find something here.

15% off entire purchase was truly a bargain. Didn't realize the Bissell Revolution Pet Pro Deluxe 1986 was a F model, ie. remanufactured, with only a 6 month warranty. Had a "bought new in ? year one" that refused to extract during recent "pet disasters." Rarely used it. This one cost just over $125 with discount. No longer sold new. Hopefully, it'll work for 6 months and longer and save me more than it cost. I was foolish enough to try to load it into a cart: luckily there was a stocking cart nearby and I flipped it into that. My back ache is gone today. And a kind gentleman in front of me took it to my car and loaded it into the back for me! One lone cashier, very pleasant. Great place to shop and found some great priced items. The only thing was that I was charged twice for many items. I was overcharged around 28.00. The sales associate kept ringing up things over and over. I asked her if I would get charged again for these items. She told me that the system wouldn’t charge twice. I didn’t check my receipt until I got home.I live over an hour away. This morning I checked my receipt and was charged twice for quite a few items. There were 3 things that were left off my bill. (Actually was over charged more but I subtracted around 5.00 from total).I called the manager. She was very nice and told me to stop back and get a refund.
