3AM Hair Salon — Local services in Irvine

Unfortunately, my visit to this barber shop was far from what I expected, and I feel compelled to share my disappointing experience. First off, the greeting, or lack thereof, set a rather unwelcoming tone for the visit. The staff seemed more interested in their phones than in customers, making it immediately clear that customer service was not their priority.

The cleanliness of the place left much to be desired, with hair clippings from previous customers still scattered around the chairs and floors, giving the shop an unkempt and careless appearance.

When it came to the haircut itself, the barber seemed rushed and disinterested, paying little attention to what I was asking for. The result was a haircut that not only failed to meet my requests but was uneven and lacked any sort of professional finish. It was evident that the barber's skills were not up to par with even the most basic standards.

Moreover, the tools used seemed outdated and not well-maintained, raising concerns about hygiene and the overall quality of the service provided.

Lastly, the attitude of the staff throughout was dismissive and rude, making the entire experience uncomfortable and something I would never want to repeat. I left the shop not only with a bad haircut but with a firm decision never to return. DO NOT COME HERE. Came in to make an appointment Wednesday evening and they said they could take me then and there so I stayed. I showed the stylist pictures of wanted I wanted and he said it could be done. Ended up staying past 2AM as they bleached my hair repeatedly, it was bleached FOUR times. I asked if it was going to be okay and he said he was a bit worried about the hair damaging and continued on. The end result was nothing like I asked. Had he said no and ended the process to protect my hair and his integrity as a stylist it would’ve been much better than drying my entire head of hair. My hair is incredibly fried to a point of no return. I was upset because I trusted the stylist with my hair and he should’ve been more self aware of his abilities as a stylist. I texted them today (Saturday) they said they could do a treatment and fix the color, again sent them pictures. They said they could do it. I ended up walking out with BLUE/GREEN/GRAY patchy and fried hair. Unbelievable!!!! They didn’t even give me a full refund and only refunded me $300 out of $600. Leaving me footing the bill of $300 for fried multicolor hair! DO NOT COME HERE! First pic is of my hair when I walked in, second what I asked for. Stay away!!Don’t fall in to the trap to all the ads and posting this store puts out on various social media!! This place is for sure a flop! I came to the store to accompany my GF and decide to get a hair cut. Within the first 5 min since I sat down, I can tell these guys do not know how to cut people’s hair, and I don’t believe they ever received any proper training on cutting people’s hair. Anyway, my simple hair cut took more than 90 min. And the outcome looks like a dog bit through my entire head. I can get a better haircut from sport clips for 20 dollars. In stead of being scammed for 80.

At the same time, another female customer also got done with her perm. The only words I can think of to describe her haircut are horrendous and atrocious. Worst part about it, is that there are no customer service and no ownership to their poor mistakes. As soon as the women complained. All the barbers storm outside the shop. I am not making this up.
