The worst drivers in the state of California are in Irvine . It’s a very unsafe place for walking and driving. There are accidents on a daily basis because of the horrible drivers . Drivers are always making illegal turns, cutting people off, refusing to use a turn signal or yielding. You have to be extremely careful especially in any parking lot. People speed through parking lots and apartment complexes like they are in a rush.

The police are rarely visible. When you do see them there’s 20 cars for a pulled over vehicle or homeless person. They should be out doing traffic enforcement . The speed limits are too high . People drive way over them. The traffic lights are ridiculously long. Very poorly timed.

The people are unfriendly, rude, entitled, selfish, ill mannered , uncouth, ignorant and borderline stupid with zero comprehension.

The people lack common sense in all aspects of their lives.

Good luck trying to make sense of how the addresses of houses and apartments are assigned. It’s impossible to find addresses. You can’t think logically or you will get lost.

There is no enforcement or regulations on the usage of lawn equipment during early morning hours.

There is no diversity in the restaurant scene. You have to travel outside of Irvine for decent food or ethnic cuisines. The food is garbage in Irvine.

It’s pretty clean and smoke free. However, the loud mufflers and racing are problematic.

A lot of beggars around the stores looking to hustle you.

The schools are great. Rich spoiled kids on E bikes are a nuisance too.

The city of Irvine reminds me of the Stepford wives. There’s crime but they keep it on the low. Can’t ruin that...

Irvine is a beautiful city on the outside, but very sick infrastructure. Poor planning all they want ia as many houses they can collect taxes from. They forgot how people can get around Irvine. Every stoplight is stupid and needs reprogrammed for " Traffic flow " not Traffic control. They don't study this huge problem. They need to look at West Covina and cities around there. Very good system on busy roads. Now they wasting millions to build a bridge over I5, the bridge to and from nowhere. I say fix the problem or impeach every city council member. This is totally embarrassing for Irvine. Let's add something else as this is ridiculous for such a large city with high tax revenues. The contractors control the roads and close lanes at will. No notice to anyone on major roads like Bake Pkwy and Irvine blvd. They do work during the day blocking roads during heavy computing hours. City of Irvine is the last place you want to live in. A lot of construction and dusts. City of Irvine is truly corrupt. They don’t care about the residents. The construction in front of our window is taking place more than 5 years , bothering and annoying residents but the city even does not force them to expedite. We have been having headaches, eyes and ears infections and other diseases due to the construction. The workers stay after working hours.
