So... I don't really have an eyebrow tail ever. For 2 decades (since I was 15 when I started wearing makeup) I had to fill in where I wished I had eyebrows. I knew I wanted to get my eyebrows done for many years but has always had my reservations because my eyebrows style changes with what look I'm going for, for the day. Today 4/12/25 I saw Miyuki's post on Instagram looking for micro blading models. I went for it and I'm super happy! She was very professional, sweet, and patient. Her work space is the cutest and immaculately clean. I voiced my concerns and she listened. We redrew my eyebrows once just making them skinnier because I'm sooo particular with my shape and how the "hair" will be stroked and such. She listened and understood and was patient and gave input when I described what was in my head. We touched up on the drawing/shaping of my eyebrows 3 times adding minor and the slightest detail from one hair strand to elongating one strand by a pencil dot. She did not make me feel like I was troublesome or picky or difficult. She explained the process and is more than happy to give you all the juicy details that I personally opted out of lol. I'm going to wait the 6-8 weeks to see if I do need a followup for any touch ups. If I do, I might just ask for more hair strands for a thicker /darker brow on my left side. I'm super happy. It's my first experience and I have no regrets. I have a few tattoos and did the micro blading without numbing cream, it felt like I was plucking my eyebrows and dare I say, less intense as far as pain goes? I had a great first session with Miyuki! She is so communicative and very knowledgeable. I had a lot of questions during and after so thank you to Miyuki for answering all my questions!

I was a little nervous with the pain but I do have a higher pain tolerance so it wasn't bad at all! She put on the 1st layer of numbing cream when I first arrived and we waited about 30 mins before she started the process. During that time, we went over the color and shape I was looking for. (Def recommend bringing any inspo photos! Those are super helpful).

Once we got started, I could still feel the blade(?) But after (i think) about 20-30 mins, she applied another layer and I felt nothing after that! In face, I actually fell asleep! (Sorry Miyuki if I snored! Lol)

She provided an aftercare package with ointment and brow wash with tools to apply the ointment. I learned there are two different methods for aftercare online: one where you have to avoid wetting your brows and one where you can wet it immediately after. Luckily with the way Miyuki does microblading, I was able to still wash my face but I did switch to a mild foaming cleanser (soon jung if anyone is interested) so that it is more gentle since technically as the brows are healing, it is still an "open wound" (according to Google).
