We only had 4 months to the wedding day when we decided to get married. SHMILY team was very nice and helpful to rush our engagement pictures in time. Only 1.5 months after the photography day, we already receive our retouched pictures! The photos come out very beautiful, and all my families and friends like themt!

SHMILY studio has different photoshoot packages, and their costs are very reasonable compared to others. As a studio, they provide full services for all you need for photoshooting. The package cost also covers wedding dresses rental and makeup service. They also help to purchase photoshoot permit if needed. So all I needed to do is to pick the dress and they managed the rest. Another thing I like about them is that they have about hundred wedding dresses in studio, with different styles and cover most common sizes. They update their inventory every year with new trend. You will find the one you want for sure.

Frank is my photographer. He is talented and experienced. He knows what is good for me at the first sight. The wedding dress I used for photoshoot was actually suggested by Frank, and it comes out very gorgeous on me and in pictures! During the whole shooting process, Frank is very patient. He knows how to make you relax and catch your best moment. Both my fiance and I do not take many photos in life, but we did enjoy the engagement photo shoot!

From the pre-shooting day preparation to the shooting day implementation, Frank not only explained to us all the steps and details during the in-person consultation session, he also sent us a detailed Purchase Need-To-Know instruction document after the consultation to help us decide whether we want to move forward with Shmily Studio. During each step, Frank is easily approachable for any questions, and he explains to us with lots of patience in nice manners. Shmily studio has a wide selection of wedding packages and wedding gowns, and we gladly settled with 2 beautiful gowns that fit into the package and match our style.

On the shooting day, Frank and his team communicated extensively and patiently with us to help us have the best pose, and tried from different angles to make sure the perfect moment captured.

We shot at 2 locations, UCLA and Sunset Beach, in a sunny hot day, and I have to admit it was a bit challenging to walk and pose and smile for straight 4-5 hours, but Shmiley Studio offered free van service which helped us a lot and made the process less stressful, so we could relax in between the two locations and not to worry about the LA traffic. Patience, profession and attention to detail, those are the first three words that I would use to describe our experience working with Frank’s team. It was our first wedding photo shooting experience, feeling nervous and awkward at the beginning, we soon realized that there was nothing to worry about since Frank was there to help us. Being an experienced photographer, he came up with numerous posing ideas, and suggested how couples interacted with each other to create the most perfect pictures. Frank is talented in shooting architectures, he told us he used to study architecture for many years, which contributes to one of his biggest advantages that stand out among other photographers. I was told that the whole process of shooting wedding picture would be exhausting, however, with the accompany of Frank’s team, we did not feel tired at all, the day just passed so relaxing and fast, as everyone in the team were so nice and helpful. When we received the pictures, we were very satisfied with them, involving the image structure, the portrait of person and the messages that were expressed through photos.
