Misleading front desk. I booked the Deep Cleansing Facial with Microdermabrasion through my points on ClassPass. Iโve never had microdermabrasion so I was excited to give it a try.
I came in before my appointment and was in no rush, the clinic also wasnโt busy. I confirmed that I was there for the facial with microdermabrasion. And I then I asked how much it would cost to add-on dermaplaning and they responded $65. I asked how much additional time would be needed in my appointment to add this on and they said it would be worked into my session and would maybe be an extra ten minutes. As the facial and microderabrasion were covered through ClassPass she then asked me to pay for the additional dermaplanning, I asked if I could wait until after the appointment so I could include the tip.
Went in, had a good facial and dermaplanning. But was surprised at the end when the microdermabrasion was not done. I asked why and was told the dermaplanning actually replaces the microadermabrasion and they canโt do both as itโs too abrasive for the skin.
At no point did they express that the dermaplanning would be REPLACING the Derm abrasion
As they were stating that the dermaplanning substituted the microdermabrasion that I did not receive but paid for through ClassPass I expressed to them that I shouldnโt have to pay for the dermaplanning. They disagreed and insisted I was receiving the same exfoliation, which I responded still didnโt make sense for this discrepancy.
Eventually the best I was offered was $15 off which they claimed was the cost of the microdermabrasion that I did not receive. So I still ended up having to pay an additional $50 dermaplanning (outside of the 24 points I used on ClassPass) + 20% tip.
I am disappointed as it felt they were being dishonest from the start of my appointment. It should have been stated that I could not have both the dermaplanning and microdermabrasion OR that there would be an additional fee to substitute it. I have no problem paying for add-ons but this whole situation made me feel like I was being taken advantage of. And ruined the...

Iโve never felt pressured to buy products like at other places โ you know that awkward โbuy somethingโ feeling? Just me? LOL. Instead, I buy them because they genuinely work wonders. Consistency with your skincare routine makes a huge difference, but having high-quality facials and products takes it to the next level.
Also, if youโre considering a massage, booking with Yesenia is a must! I gifted my husband a massage for his birthday last year, and this year we went for a couples massage โ 10/10 recommend.
Everyone at ForeverYoung Aesthetics is so welcoming and kind from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. And trust me, they are incredibly patient even when I text a million questions or call them with more! Iโm pretty sure they donโt actually sigh when they see my contact pop up. ๐คฃTotally kidding! She basically just applied some products that were in such a negligible quantity that she literally had to drag the brush on my face do that she can cover my whole face . In between each application she would be washing her containers apart from the loud songs which i asked her to slow down the volume . It was like a doctors office not anything close to spa.made me more irritated rather than relaxed . I guess because I booked it through ClassPass and it was discounted they gave that terrible job .
