I go here frequently. I was on my 30 min lunch break. I ordered a chicken fried steak sandwich and added cheese with Mayo and a #3 with ketchup no mustard, no mayo, Tykeesha was very nice and professional at the window. We get our food and drive off at the light I checked my sandwich the chicken fried steak was fried so hard it probably would have broken my teeth, the burger had mayo ketchup and mustard and was cold in the middle and the fries cold. I went back pushed the button started explaining to whoever answered a short Hispanic or white employees flung the door open. I am explaining to her about my sandwich and she is smacking her lips then told her the burger is cold she grabbed the burger and squeezed it and said it warm I said no open it up and touch the patty she did and proceeded to smack her lips and argue with me it's warm. She had a bad attitude that set me off as well. Instead of going back in the store and doing what needed to be done she was standing there going back and forth. So I said you know what just give me a refund and send the manager out. The manager white lady with glasses swings the door open in hostile way instead of asking me what was going here's your receipt I took the receipt and she yells you didn't have to snatch the receipt. I said I did not snatch the receipt she proceeded to go back and forth. I said what the hell wrong with yall today I come here all the time and never get service like this but you all are Hella rude. She walked off I asked for Corp number she said it's on the receipt I asked for her name she said I'm rude remember and walked back in the store. I will not be going back to this Sonic again. 14 minutes at the speaker waiting for someone to take my order and nothing. N O T H I N G.
There was nobody at the window, no customers in the stalls. Just a silent box. Tooted horn. Still nothing.
Called the restaurant, phone answered as if they had patiently been waiting for my call. I let her know how long I've been waiting and that there was about 6-7 cars behind me waiting. Asked me to pull around. Placed my order.
Now 20 min in, she comes to tell me that the shake machine is down. Seriously? With this much time invested, I could have driven to Chili's, been seated and already had a cocktail and chips and salsa in front of me. But, hey, I'm now committed to the process.
33 minutes total at Sonic. Couldn't have a shake - at the place famous for them - and I leave with $24.00 of food and a very sad shakeless soul.
Get home completely expecting a correct and properly prepared order considering the excessive amount of time that I spent there and the incredibly large staff that they had in that small building. What do I get... a burger that is incorrectly made and a Coney Dog that is a cold as that shake should have been.

The North Irving Sonic off Beltline and Walnut Hill is the most disgusting Sonic in all of Dallas County. I paid for onion rings but they were not in my order, so when I advised the young girl that my onion rings were missing, she replied " Oh we don't have any rings" ...so then why not offer a substitution instead of hoping I drive away and not check my order, basically stealing my money. I go home to eat my hamburgers and they are literally thrown together so sloppy in addition to being cold. I went back to the restaurant to get a refund, which I absolutely hate doing btw, but the manager told me to request a refund through the app, which did not work as they kept sending emails asking what the issue was ...I had to actually call the 1-800 number to be properly refunded. I honestly think they are trying pre-close the restaurant too early so they can leave on time. Management please hire a more mature staff because the employees and lack of service has dragged this location down. I no longer eat at this location and would rather drive farther to MacArthur Blv. In Las Colinas, at least I'll get good service there, even if the food is off or order is wrong. North Irving location please get it together because I can literally walk to your store but would rather go elsewhere.
