I recently brought a refrigerator from this business last week Monday. I went food shopping Wednesday and filled my fridge up with groceries. The food and refrigerator were both fine as far as i noticed. I had a busy week and was not home until friday evening, early saturday morning. Saturday i went out again and got more groceries. When i returned homed to put the groceries away i noticed the ice pops and ice cream i brought earlier in the week were all melted. At that point i checked the knobs to see what setting the refrigerator and freezer were on. They both were already set to the coldest temperatures. Sunday as a holiday for me due to my religion being muslim. This day marked the ending of a 30 day fast. I awoke his morning to a horrible smell coming from my food spoiling. I proceeded to call the store and spoke with the receptionist who transferred me to the business owner. The owner was not only rude and disrespectful but he also proceeded to lie and give me a brush off type of demeanor. A service technician was sent out to look at and service my refrigerator about an hour later and he had to replace/ repair 3 things. He stated to me that he could have done so before my appliance left the store. I could tell he felt bad as he serviced my appliance and apologized for the inconvenience. About 45 after he arrived i could feel the difference inside of the fridge as he packed up to leave.He told me things should begin to freeze after 5-6 hours. It was around 3 pm. I proceeded to call the business back. The receptionist answered again and said the owner was out making deliveries and i could call back at 5 pm. We shared our views on the situation and she agreed that with the pandemic going on, he should accomodate me somewhat for my food. It is especially hard right now and also i am a single mother of a 7 year old who is out of school. I told her i would call back at 5 and thanked her for her concern and politeness. I patiently waited to call back at 5. When i did the same familiar voice picked up and asked me to hold after we exchanged hellos and re introductions. I could hear the owner in the background yelling rudely at the workers. He picked up the phone continuing to yell for a bit then said hello. i greeted him back with a warm hello and told him who i was and where i lived. he said hello and asked what he could do for me. i began to tell him i called earlier about the service call for my fridge and he cut me off saying hold on. i paused my conversation and he passed the phone to the service technician that had already attended to me. once i recognized his voice i politely told him he had already serviced my fridge and i never asked to speak to him. he gave the phone back to the owner letting him know that the issue needed to be addressed by him. The owner came to the phone again yelling rudely to the workers. After he finished he began telling me to hurry and tell him what my problem was because he had to go. Again he was disrespectful and even told me he didnt care that i would be taking my time to write him this horrible review and or call the mayors office, and that he was going to hang up on me if i didnt soon because again he wasnt replacing my food or anything. He stated that he "hadnt replaced anyone's food ever in 30 years of work." I paid a lot of money for that refrigerator and all the groceries to restock it after my old one went out and everything inside spoiled. I am truly heartbroken right now and in distress. I am not racist and i believe all lives matter. to see someone of your own race do things like this to their own kind and really not care...
   Read moreThis is the worst place to deal with. I have never dealt with such an unprofessional establishment in my life. If they come out to work on your appliance, they offer you a warranty but if something happens during that time, they will ignore your calls because they don’t want to honor the warranty. I even spoke to Red and I asked for a manager and I wasn’t granted to speak with one. She said Jerome is one of the managers. If this is so, this place needs to be put out of business. Jerome is the one who did the work originally and once he found out that it was under warranty, he ignored my calls, text messages, etc etc. He never showed up for our appointments scheduled. I hate to say this but stay out of that neighborhood and have a refrigeration place in areas such as south orange, etc. I only used them because of a referral and I will not be referring them to my many friends and family who are home owners. Save your money and time and please don’t ever buy anything from them nor get anything fixed from them because it’s a ghetto establishment with the worst customer service available. I hate that I had to even give one star because they deserve no stars. I’m a homeowner with several properties so I’m used to dealing with professional people so this is an utter shock but I will tell you I’m not surprised for reasons better left unsaid.    Read moreI AM VERY DISAPPOINTED, I bought a fridge which is made in china I believe it’s called “MORA” I got this fridge delivered to me in March 25th ,poor communication and was delivered late anyway the fridge stop working 3 weeks later , I told them about the issue and the owner son gave me some maintenance guy to check It out , the 1st guy told me and said you need a new fridge , I then went to back to the place I then told the owner he said it’s no way you need a fridge I will come check It out , he came looked at It and said I will be hiring new people I can give you a mini fridge in the mean time come by and get It, I didn’t bother because the maintenance guy had me blow dry the ice so It worked For about a week , Now today I decided to get It checked Out knowing I’m Home most of the time now , and someone from Proservices he opened a box in the bottom of the fridge and seen that It was infested with roaches , my apartment does not have roaches , and definitely did not have that fridge for long .Ice always build up does not melt , and the fact the owner son says well you can buy another updated one for $475 I bought this fridge for $475 People are very evil I tell you , you cannot support black business at all they play with you to much , money do not grow on trees and I am very disgusted .
