I’ve never really done a review, but I feel the need to do one now. I called this business to ask about thier prices for a color. The owner told me that it would be around 60.00. I told her that I have red hair so she recommended the gentleman that works for her, but he would be 80.00 because of the special color he uses. I told her that would be fine. So I get there and everything was friendly and we discussed the color and he mixed it. He started to put it on my hair and it looked really orange and I asked him if it was going to stay that way and he said no. Well it was way different than my hair, but I decided to just deal with it until I get back to my other hairdresser so she can fix it. Anyway, that was bad enough, but it gets worse. He insisted that he should trim the ends off even though I told him I didn’t need it. He just wanted to touch my hair with his scissors so he could charge me. He literally only took off maybe a tablespoon of hair and when I went to pay, it went from 80.00 to 140.00. It was sneaky and deceptive of him and no way to run a business. I work down here so thought great I can just go across the street and get my nails done at lunch. The first time I went the "mother" did my gel manicure and was extremely rough moving my hands to where they don't really move. I told the daughter I cannot let her do my nails anymore. Each and every time I have gone back (4) times her child was there yelling and screaming making it an unpleasant experience. I went in at lunch Monday to get my gel manicure and the child was there and she kept getting up and down and when I left the gel just peeled right off. Probably because she wasn't paying attention. I go back Tuesday to get my toes done and to have the gel fixed she wasn't even there. Had to run to get her sick child and never notified me. I fully understand family issues however you run a business and should make other arrangements. The worst part? I learned that she upcharges $5.00 each for vacationers and locals get a discount of $5.00. I think that is so unfair to single people out like that. I visited this location on May 29th, 2025. It was my birthday and I just wanted to get pampered while waiting for an employee. When I pulled up the light were off and the owner was outside. Stated that they were about to close but still asked what services I needed. I told him it's my birthday and I just was trying to get a fill in and possibly a pedicure or polish change on my toes. He could have very well turned me away but his co worker and himself proceeded to give the services I requested! I absolutely appreciated the great customer service I was given and for him staying open to get me taken care of.
