The cinema itself is pretty clean but the customer service and the employees' attitudes toward the customers are just terrible. I usually only go there once or twice a year but each time, I feel very uncomfortable by the employees. I was there yesterday with my friends, and since it was around 1, we had lunch at MOD pizza near by. One of my friend and I were unable to finish each of our pizza, so with put them in to-to boxes and each of us carried our unfinished drinks to the movie. I get that cinema don't really appreciate people bringing in outside food in. Nevertheless, they cannot just force us to not bring them, and plus they were just some leftovers. The thing is they sell their own food, so it is not obviously to prevent food spill, and it is not like we were going to spill them, my friend group, including myself were all 16. Then why do they do it, because they are running low on business in their food bars. And that is simply because the foods there are really expensive, and I personally have been to multiple cinemas before. And we were not about to buy more foods or drinks just because they prevented us from bringing outside food in. I mean who does that. And guess what, three employees ended up getting involved in he situation. We didn't want to make situation worse so we try to explain and my other friends who already finished their foods at MOD tried to explain too, and a guy in suit, who I think was a manager or something, just snapped at them, telling them to mind their own business. I mean seriously? We ended up convincing customer care to keep our food. And just as we were going to head for our theater, the "manager" guy stopped my younger brother and I, demanding to search through our small bag, that had studying stuff and extra clothes, in case it gets cold. Since he said it was the policy, I had to take things out of the bag, till I realized that there were some feminine products in there, so I asked him if I HAD to show him the entire contents of the bag. And he asked me whether I had feminine products in there straight out when there are other guys around us, and he said it loud enough for them to hear. I mean what does he expect!?!? We are all teenager girls. Feeling embarrassed, I tired to walk away, especially since the movie was about to start. But then he stopped me saying if he can talk to me, and I said no. And straight up, he suggested to refund my tickets. I was there to watch the movie with my friends, not to argue with this rude guy and get my tickets refunded. I told him that he embarrassed us and to back off. The situation got to the point that he was raising his voice and my younger brother was about to cry. He told me that he personally has two children, but is that really how a person who is a father act toward four teenager girls and a boy who is not a middle schooler yet? I don't think so. I am never going back to this...
Read moreIt was me and a family of 12 in a theater, two adults and the rest teen girls. The children were climbing on chairs and yelling. I shushed them a couple times, but the parents did nothing but sit there on their phones.
Instead of having to deal with that I got a refund. I think i spoke to the manager. The person gave me a refund and that was it. The manager was not apologetic at all and not the least bit interested in keeping my business over the super obnoxious party. I have had incidents like this at other theaters. The manager was apologetic, refunded my ticket, and gave me a coupon for popcorn and a soda to try to make things right.
In other theaters, they actually have employees come into the theater to check on things. During my time in the theater, I didn't see a single employee come in. Which would have been super helpful as the kids laying in the isle and talking would have been super apparent.
Setting all that aside, when i first got there i waited 10 mins in line. Behind the screaming kids. It took them 10 mins to deal with their order. Fine. But right as their order is finishing up, an employee who had been there the entire, not dealing with their order opens a new register for me.
I thought great, that was nice. But then I waited 20 mins for my food while the people tried to figure out what was wrong with the popcorn machine (It was making burnt popcorn). I didn't order popcorn, not sure why I waited. I overhear one employee tell the other not to serve that popcorn as it was burnt. Shortly after, the employee that was told that, gave that very burnt popcorn to someone that had dropped their popcorn. It's not like the guy didn't notice, he even said "What's up with the popcorn" to which the employee shrugged their shoulders.

Read moreThis place is so far out the way there's really no reason to go here unless you live in the Highlands. But it's my little diamond in the rough. Not so much a secret once I review it but they deserve it. I live in Renton and I have at least half a dozen of theater options that are closer by at least 10 miles and yet I drive all the way out to Regal in Issy Highlands to watch movies... why?
Because the theater is pretty much brand new. So everything is clean and not worn out. Only residents of the area come here so it's never packed/overly crowded. Because it's the Issaquah Highlands - no rowdy and loud people come here either. They serve a vareity of food that is reasonable for the movie theater. Chicken sandwiches and burgers, nachoes, ice cream, mini pizzas, etc. Everything is less than $10! Parking is plentiful as there is a 2 story garage and plenty of street parking as well. There's an array of different restaurants and stores to go shopping around to kill time prior to the start of a movie. AND they have the BEST and largest RPX screen of any Regal theater that I have been to in the state of WA. The seats are large and comfortable as well. There really isn't anything to complain about aside from how far they are but for me... it's...
