We stopped by here as I saw in a previous review that they allow dogs on their outdoor seating. We arrived here on a pretty sunny day and I asked my boyfriend to take our dogs to be seated as there were tables and chairs outside with umbrellas. It took a few minutes to get noticed by the waiter who said it was okay to dine out with our dogs and said he would bring us menus and he set up the umbrella for us to block the sun out of faces. He provided professional but felt very curt with his responses like when we asked for tea and water but he only brought me tea while my boyfriend got water. We placed our order and got the don katsu and Bone Hae Jang Guk. I did see that they give banchan with your order which I thought was lame as I come from Federal Way and they usually give you rice and banchan while you wait for your entrees. Additionally, as he was trying to carry my soup, he spilled quite a bit and just wiped it off with his hands which I found very unprofessional. He came by only one other time to check in on us so we only got to get one banchan refill and hot tea refill and the last time was to give us the bill.
The food was alright. Again, I come from Federal Way where you can find Korean street snacks, traditional comfort foods, and cafes. There was a decent amount of meat and vegetables given but the seasoning was lacking. Portions may seem big to some but this is pretty average portions for most Korean places, but they are really pricy. It was also interesting that they advertise bone hae jang guk as mild but have a chili pepper to indicate it's spicy? My boyfriend really loved his katsu and gave it a 7.5/10. The banchan was decent, we really liked the fish cakes, braised potatoes and cucumber kimchi.
I can't really speak for the inside as we dined outside, but they were playing K-pop and the interior looked more modern and intimate than a traditional Korean restaurant. It definitely can cater to small to large parties. Might come back to try other dishes but there are better Korean...
Read moreUpdated, reply to the owner’s response below. You could consider closing online order or add a reason to “order not fulfilled” or simply call me when you rejected my order
You could have been more polite when I was in the store asking about the order status. I did not receive any apologize from any of the waitress, saying “ sorry for your inconvenience” in front of me shouldn’t cost you any extra ingredients or Human Resources.

Horrible experience ordering online. I placed an order on the website and departure to this restaurant for pick up on 7:38 pm. Upon arrival I noticed they put a note on the door saying they’re closed, early. It is indeed my fault that I did not check my email ( sent a second email stating my order did not fulfill without any reason on 7:41pm), however, how could I knew you’ve closed early when you’re still open for online ordering?? Waitress was rude too when I arrived this place asking for a clarification, horrible horrible. I don’t care how delicious the food is, I’m so mad at this bad experience.
Additionally, it took me 10+ mins to drive here. When I was rejected by the waitress, I heard she asking the other table “are you ready to order now?” I don’t understand, if you’re closed, how come you still have new customers dining in? How come your new customers arrived earlier than my order time but still not...
Read moreOne of those experiences where you have high hopes and everything looks better than it is. The space and ambiance are great, but we couldn’t have been greeted in a more unwelcoming way from the time we came in to when we ordered. The young man who seated us and took our order couldn’t have cared less. “Yup” was the only response we got from him. Food appeared beautiful but looked more flavorful than what it was. The bimbimbop was good. All the sides were fine. The spicy fried squid tasted like they forgot the stir fry sauce and was grainy like chewing on ground gochujang powder-coated squid and veg. Thanks to Miyoung, we experienced some actual customer service and she salvaged the experience. It’s the only game in town but that doesn’t mean an automatic high rating and the staff would be wise to remember that it’s still worth giving a little effort when someone comes in the door an hour before close. All the makings for a great experience, but just “ok” on...
