UPDATE:
Review 2: In this trying to switch from one phone to another adventure. I met 3 other gentlemen along the way. The first was Drake. He asked what he could do for me immediately after finishing with another customer. He listened patiently as I explained the whole situation with picking up my phone from another store(which I was grateful for) and transferring my information myself. My phone would get to a certain point and freeze. He gave great advice and helped me to update my phone before trying to transfer. Super friendly. Super helpful. Super kind. At no fault of Drew. The phone was still stalling so I came BACK to Verizon again. This time Drew was busy helping another customer so Tre was so kind to listen to my story all over again and was also very knowledgeable about how and what to do with the phone to troubleshoot and try a different way. He was patient when he took the phone through several steps to get it to where it needed to be to update. Between Drake and Tre we got the phone rolling.
There is one other name I want to mention. This employee did not help me personally but he may be the one who stood out the most. Drew. As the other 2 were helping me I could see and hear his interaction with a few other customers. One of which was an elderly lady, who moved slowly and had to take her time picking out her accessories. Drew was so patient and soft spoken to her, never rushing her, speaking to her so respectfully and moving at her pace, all the while with a smile on his face. In addition to giving her his attention he attentively listened to another customer talk about his life and how he lost his wife recently, Drew was so sympathetic towards the gentleman and just let him speak about the things that were on his mind. He was so kind and just genuinely cared about the people he was helping.
I have had the pleasure of dealing with 4 different employees at this location over the course of 2 days. It is so hard to find just genuine, kind, caring, down to earth people in this day in time. These guys are a breath of fresh air.
Review 1: I have had many experiences with this Verizon location and all have been very positive with every employee. There is one that stands out, Dillon takes the cake at this location. He was so down to earth, so helpful, went of of his way to help me get the phone I wanted (literally out of his way) and made it happen quicker than I thought was possible. I was only in town for 3 days and Dillion made sure I had exactly what I needed before I left the store that day. He explained everything throughly and even helped us to fix things on our account we didnât even know needed to be fixed! Super helpful and friendly. Just a good genuine guy who made our visit run so smooth even with 3...
Read moreMy husband and I came in to inquire about employee discounts through our companies on a Saturday evening and little did we know we would walk out with two brand new phones that we were unaware we qualified for. We were greeted by Adam Jones, a sales rep who immediately went to work to find out what we qualified for and what would fit our needs.
He was helpful, delightful, fun and easy to speak with, without being overly pushy was key. We kept the conversation fun as it was close to being the end of the day for the store. When we arrived, the store was not busy, but as soon as we got down to our immediate options and then a quick second to give the ok for the phone upgrade, out of nowhere, the store ballooned with more people. This is where Adam kept his focus on us while also giving the new customers walking in, the acknowledgement they deserved, but kept our needs always first. The other customers understood this as we saw them take up residence in the store's waiting area.
The store itself was clean, bright lighting, a fun music playlist that had a nice mix to listen to while waiting and the bathrooms were immaculate. Dare I say, the women's restroom was cleaner than the other businesses in the area. My husband also commented about the restroom cleanliness for his side as well.
We did take our time to read and ask questions and Adam had an answer every time. He also was supportive when I was hesitant to trade in my old phone on the spot. I've always been told to wait at least until the end of the 30 days just in case something goes awry, but, my husband and I let them go and it was nice to not to have to hang on to them.
Not knowing this was not a corporate Verizon store, but a Cellular Sales authorized retailer for Verizon was a little confusing at first, but after getting a face to face with clear explanation was a good experience, if not better than going to an actual corporate store.
The only comment to improve was the handling of some sensitive information that my husband gave out to the rep when opening his phone. I do wish that any unlocking codes would have been more private, only asking us the customer to enter them without it be audible, however, it was not as loud for others to hear and remember, but in the future, any sensitive information such as passing the device back and forth should be given back to the customer to unlock themselves.
As a former Secret Shopper for a variety of businesses, I would have marked this store as a win for customer service, cleanliness and...
Read moreThe manager here, claims his name is Zach, but I'm convinced he's actually Verizon's version of every superhero ever, combined. I went in today shortly after I discovered my phone had been taken. The friendly staff member had me put my info into their computer and discovered it was in a nearby parking lot. Zach was just like nope, not today villains, grabbed his laptop and said "Let's roll". People, he got into my car with his laptop like some sort of CSI Batman and directed me to the location of my phone, got out, and nonchalantly took my phone back from the person that had it!!! I still can't believe it. It was LIVE ACTION CUSTOMER SERVICE. I offered to buy his lunch which he politely declined and then just asked that I drop him back off at the Verizon store. Like it was no big deal. Like he didn't just perform a heroic, above and beyond act of not just customer service, but public service. Not all heros wear capes -the best ones work in the Jacksboro Tn Verizon store and wear business casual dress...
