On November 30, 2024, I purchased 13 tickets online to take the family to see Wicked. Upon arrival, the movie screen would not come down so all shows had been cancelled. The manager on duty was not able to issue refunds. He asked guests to write down their contact information on a sheet of paper and âall refunds would be handled on the backend.â On December 4th, 2024, I noticed the refund had not been issued to my credit card. I called the Capri and Highball Lanes to speak to the manager regarding the status of the refund. Unfortunately, nobody answered the phone so I drove 30 minutes one-way to the theatre to speak to the General Manager, Todd. Todd assured me the refund would be issued within the next couple of days, so I waited. On Monday, December 9th, 2024, I called the theater again. This time someone did answer the phone, but he told me Todd was not available. On Friday, December 13th, 2024, I called the theater again, but nobody answered so I went back to the theater. Upon arrival, I was told Todd was not available. Today, Tuesday, December 17th, 2024, I had to spend 16 minutes on the phone to dispute the charges with my credit card company. This is too much back and forth. I have waited 18 days for a refund. The lack of customer service is unfortunate for the Capri, Highball Lanes, and the City of Jackson. As a result, me and my family will no longer patronize...
Read more2nd time attending Capri. Fondren area.. down the street from where I live. Went to see Avatar- The Way of Water. Fantastic movie! Capri is a nice "hometown" movie theater and is larger on the inside than it looks. It has reclining seats with an attached eating tray and cup holder. If you didn't get any concessions or food before you went in, you can order it via the QR Code at your seat!! I will definitely try this next time, as I saw SEVERAL people taking advantage of this. And the theater hostess will bring it to your seat. I also liked the fact that the restroom was actually INSIDE the theater, about 1/4 of the way in. That way you don't have to go out of the theatre and down a long hallway to get to the restroom, and miss a large part of the movie (but when you gotta go, you just gotta go...) I also like that other things to do and visit are also in the immediate area, right next to the Capri, like bowling, restaurants and small shops. I'll definitely be visiting Capri again! But please know, there is only one movie at a time showing at any given time. What's being advertised at the time, will be the movie you will have to see. There will be no other options to choose from, which is fine. You can only see one movie at a time anyway, right? đđ Go to the Capri in the Fondren area whenever you visit...
Read morePart curiosity and part lazy Sunday led us to try out the Capri. Given two movie options, we easily purchased online tickets for Uncharted. Upon arriving, we found parking very convenient. A friendly employee greeted us at the door and directed us inside. We asked about purchasing snacks at the counter and were told that while that was an option, a full menu was available from our seats. Entering the theatre proper, gold-tone hardware with hues of aquamarine makes you feel like youâve somehow gained admittance to something extraordinary. The seats are incredibly plush, with a swinging tray table for snacks. Ordering with a smartphone was quick and easy. The menu was full as promised, but the food - other than popcorn - was not great. Quesadilla cheese was weird, and nachos were not good. Setting that aside, however, the experience was fun, and we werenât expecting restaurant-quality anyway. The best part of the snacking experience was the ease at which the attendants appeared and reappeared without distracting the movie. Final note - the restrooms were clean and well-appointed, with the added fun of hearing strikes thrown at the bowling alley opposite the side of the wall. The Capri is a welcome renewed...
