My girlfriend and I went to this location often. We went about two weeks ago and the manager, young male, raised his voice at my girl and told her that "every time she came in she would have to scan at the front". We go after hours we have to scan in to the building. I didn't understand what was going on, but when she explained it to me I was flabbergasted. We always thought that when we scanned into the facility at the door we were checked in. So many other concepts scan you in as you scan to enter, as we've experienced at many other gyms in the metro area. We canceled our membership that day. The young man tried to walk it back because he certainly realized he crossed the line. At this age we don't get even, we simply stop spending money with your company after being rude to us. Now we are at a cross fit gym paying much more, but the quality of service is much better. I wouldn't go back to this gym because of the way the young man chose to treat my girl, that behavior was unprofessional and flat out rude. I go where I am respected and treated...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVery nice, clean facility with a plentiful selection of equipment. The hours are reasonable and they keep the bathrooms clean as well. They maintain their equipment well and the patrons are nice. Lots of other average folks like myself that just want to get in reasonable shape and lose a few pounds who arenāt body builders (no offense meant to those who are body builders, yāall are amazing!) and peeps of all ages, shapes and sizes so I was very comfortable working out there. My only complaint is that they deduct your membership from your bank account no later than the 3rd but youāre statement says āpending paymentā until the 9th or 10th. As a result you canāt submit it to your health insurance or benefitās reimbursement in time for it to be reimbursed on your next pay period (if you get paid bi-weekly which I do). Iām on a really tight budget so this was hard for me. It may not be an issue for everyone though so take it as your...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf you're looking for a petri dish to catch Staph, MRSA & Athletes Foot, then this is it. I hope that you can change your clothes standing up because there's only one 4-foot bench in a locker room with 90+ lockers. The personal trainers, the people they're training, the users - nobody wipes down the equipment & only two older guys using towels. Too many people walking around the common areas barefoot or in socks & putting their bacteria laden feet on the equipment. Even saw one guy putting his feet on the punching bag - didn't wipe it down when he left. Expect to wait 20 minutes for equipment as IG updates between sets are the norm as is random people filming themselves.... and you. The padding on the equipment is old, torn & frayed. The manager seems uninterested. For the price, there are better, cleaner & more...
