This place used to be one of my favorite guilty pleasures. I have bought candy, gift cards, sno cones, etc. But not anymore. Iâm thoroughly displeased with how I was treated by employees outside the store a few weeks ago. I was parked in idle (because I had a work call) at about 8:30 in morning; the parking lot was pretty much empty minus the 2 cars of workers at Smoothie King where I was headed on this day. A woman employee from Nandyâs Candy pulled up in an SUV and tried to demand to park in the space I was occupying, citing her employment there as grounds for me to move. When she realized the initial honking and getting out of her car to tell me what to do didnât work, she asked me to move (but still with a tone). She claimed to have weighed it but if that was the case it should've been printed on the receipt and the items I bought should've been listed on the receipt in their system. We aren't dumb but hey, it just teaches you to not do business with people like so who try to get over on customers when it comes to pricing...oh well.... probably won't be back. Other than the pricing issue...the tinny tiny pieces of "candy" we're pretty good. Not worth $5+ for something that literally weighed about 4oz. So...yeah...
Read moreAnother great trip! Brought my daughter by recently to get a snow cone and cool off. Today brought my wife by for a quick treat without the children. Of course the wife wanted a snow cone and EVERYTHING inside the store! So many delicious options for sweet treats. You can't go wrong and they definitely have something to tackle your sweet tooth! All of the young ladies working today were so friendly and helpful! Always a pleasure to interact with people who enjoy what they do and don't mind coming to work and conversing with patrons! No snow cones are allowed inside the store so do your shopping inside before getting the delicious treat outside! We love stopping by this North...
