Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Jackson

I’m not from MS but I love Papa Johns. Since I’ve been here I’ve ordered from this location several times each time the food being blatanlty cold or not coming at the time it said it would (I.e. 1.5 hrs later) its 3 miles from me.. I thought it might be because it’s delivery so I picked up from this location, I had the free cheese sticks because I spend a ridiculous amount with this company so I had enough “PapaPoints”, I had also purchased wings.

I get there and say hello to a kitchen area with at least 7 people and just get stared at.. okay..? A young girl is standing at one of the terminals in front of me and didn’t say hello or offer to help me. Another young girl comes up asks about my name and whatnot I get my food and leave. I sit in the car and open my cheese sticks, I’m pregnant and famished, they were cold and old and looked as if they had been dropped on the floor in the box and tossed to the side. My wings were no covered in the sauce I had ordered and were cold as well (I made this order maybe 15 min prior) I did not go back inside because the employees did not make me feel like a wanted customer. They just all looked miserable and like I shouldn’t be there, like they were ready to go home. They made me uncomfortable..

The one upside was the girl who gave me my order was very nice to me. I’ve never written a review before but that’s how upset and disappointed I am with this location.. Papa Johns is awesome still but this location needs improvement on their customer service skills and the cold food problem. Both with delivery...

Ordered online before opening for an 11:30am staff meeting. Delivery for 11:15. At 11:30 I called to ensure the order was received and would be delivered. Team member acknowledged the order, said it was being prepared but they were short on drivers. At 12:10, I called to inquire about the order. A different team member said the order will be delivered in 5-10 minutes and that they were short staffed and had 125 orders come in. The food finally arrived at 12:25. Now, am I mad they were short staffed and couldn't deliver as they promised - nope. Am I mad that they knew this and made no attempt to contact me and the countless others who were affected by their internal operation/management problems - heck yeah! I had 12 very hungry and busy professionals just sitting there for an hour waiting for lunch. One call from a team member would've improved this experience - I could've made different arrangements or picked up the order. BTW, I worked at a Papa John's in a college town that serviced the University's football stadium - I know the pizza hustle. This is so...

I’m sad to give this location 2 stars. We have had generally good experiences with delivery with food coming within a reasonable amount of time (this of course depends on when you order). I would recommend the pan pizza as the traditional dough is more like cardboard. Our latest pizza was truly excellent for being a chain restaurant. The reason for my two stars is because of having to deal with the staff. We ordered and the additional sauces I requested were not included. Big deal, right? It was a matter of principle so I called to simply be refunded for those sauces. After the phone was given to someone else, I was eventually just abandoned. No one said to please hold. It was as if they just set the phone down, and this remained the case for 20 minutes before I decided this warranted a review. That is because this is not the first time additional sauces have not been included. If you an avoid dealing with the staff, then this place is alright. I would recommend ordering from somewhere...
