This may have been my first ever bad experience with Target, but itâs kind of left a permanent bad taste in my mouth for this company. I placed a drive up order. Every single drive up spot was filled, so I parked in a regular spot and selected âcanât find a spotâ in the app. I noticed that nearly EVERY SINGLE DRIVE UP spot was full of empty cars! As I sat there for what seemed like an eternity, I realized that in most cases, people who were waiting for a drive up order had gotten out of their cars, in frustration, and went into the store to retrieve their order themselves. I had already checked in, so I couldnât get out of the car because I was afraid someone would finallyâŚcome out of the store with orders. Additionally, I had packages on my backseat from other stores. So, I called the store REPEATEDLY. NOBODY answered the phone. In the middle of the day, the staff just let the phone ring until the call just disconnected. I was attempting to see if anybody was working drive up orders. After continuing to wait for nearly an hour, it was clear that nobody was working drive up orders, so I attempted to cancel the order. I couldnât cancel in the app, so I again called the store repeatedly to tell them to cancel the orderâŚbut, of course, no one answered. Finally, I drove off and abandoned the order. I was finally able to cancel it once I got home. The store was busy, but not nearly as busy as WalmartâŚI was able to drive up at Walmart and get my drive up order within 10 minutes.
On a different note, the drive up service has gotten progressively horrible. The two young ladiesâŚit appears that they maybe canât read or something. It takes them soooooooooooooooooo long to read the information off of the handheld device. The last time I did a drive up order, the young lady looked at the handheld for so long that customers started getting out of their cars to claim their items off...
Read moreWent to target in Jackson today and they had a whole bunch of signs by the bras and bralettes that said buy 2 get one free. And they were like $15 a piece so I only wouldâve been paying $30 for two and getting one for free. I get to the register and my total was $46. I was like so thatâs not the buy two get one free? She huffed and was like hold on maam. And walked in the back and walked out with short young black men that look like they might be managers. He went to the back to look at the sign and took him forever anyway. He came back and said the sign was a week old. I said um thatâs false advertising, knowing yall need to take those down. And they looked at me and looked at each other and started looking crazy and the girl that was checking me out gone say âitâs okay Iâm finna get off the clock nowâ and turn her register light off. But what I said was not wrong???? Cuz why yall got signs up and it wasnât even just one it was like 4 or 5 and got people thinking the stuff on sale when itâs not. Yâall need to take it down. And most stores will honor it even if it is old cuz itâs the fault of the store. Itâs not my problem yall ainât take the signs down. So I just spent $50 on my dang bras when I couldâve...
Read morePlease explain to me how I ordered 3 items online for in-store pick up at my local store in Jackson, MS which showed at checkout the items were still in stock, then I get charged for said items and a text message an hour later stating my order (with confirmation #) is ready for pick up...then, 10 minutes later I get 2 separate emails saying it cancelled 2/3 items I had already paid for "as I requested"...(I DID NOT CANCEL NOR INTEND TO CANCEL ANY ITEMS) ...so I call the customer assistance hotline and sit on hold for nearly 30 minutes finally to give up. Finally, I go back online to look at the items again and what do you know they are still in stock supposedly at my local store for in store pick up 6 hours after I place my order - but not available for me to pick up at my local store according to your correspondence with me. I have never had such an experience with Target and as a loyal paying customer I deserve an explanation. I want the...
