My recent experience at the Starbucks located inside Target in Jackson was nothing short of shocking. I placed my order at 7:45 PM, a seemingly reasonable time, and was met with a response that left me deeply disappointed.
I simply ordered a coffee, but the barista informed me that they were closing in 15 minutes and declined to serve me. This lack of willingness to accommodate a straightforward request was not only rude but also highly unprofessional. Starbucks has always been synonymous with quality service, and this experience fell far short of that reputation.
To make matters worse, when I expressed my disbelief and mentioned that it's not appropriate to refuse service to a customer in this manner, the staff simply laughed at me. This blatant disregard for customer concerns and their unapologetic attitude only added to the distress of the situation.
Starbucks has built a brand around providing exceptional service, and it is disheartening to see such a poor display of professionalism and customer care in one of their locations. My experience that evening has made me question whether this particular Starbucks within Target values its customers at all.

On a trip to gulf shores, I mobile ordered here for a shaken espresso with salted caramel foam and a strawberry açaĂ refresher with peach. At the speaker box a man told me they were out of salted caramel foam that I ordered through the app. So I asked for whip cream instead (whip cream is a no-additional-cost modifier) I got my refresher and it clearly hadnât been shaken so I tasted it to see if it had the peach juice I ordered and it didnât. It was also missing the strawberry inclusions. And my shaken espresso that I order almost on a daily basis back home was extremely sweet! I like sweet coffee but it tastes like they doubled the amount of syrup. I asked the man if my refresher had been shaken and if it had peach and he said no. I wasnât offered a refund or recovery of any kind for the modifiers they were out of.
