Kind of a comical experience… Walked in for a bowl while passing through town. There was 2 customers in front of me and me, that was all…. 1 guy working the line/register, 1 guy on grill, another doing random tasks like trash and kinda just wondering, 3 people working to go orders (slowly, in no rush, clearly not many orders) and a manager checking the temps of all the food.
Stood there for 8 minutes while the one guy on the line was still helping the two customers in front of me. The manager slowly walking around made eye contact with me twice and couldn’t put down her iPad or ask one of the other non busy people to prioritize the customer for 30 seconds to make a bowl. Anyways, stood there until one of the Togo ladies finally came up to take my order. She was friendly and efficient… until the guy rung up my order… I eat chipotle 3-5 times a week, every single week, and I always get the same thing. Except this time my order was $21. I asked how that could be and they insisted on nothing being wrong. The lady who made my bowl through in the comment I thought was unnecessary and prompted this review, (excusing the long wait when there was no customers and no urgency in the staff)
She said: “Different chipotles operate in different zip codes with higher median incomes, maybe where you go is lower and that’s why it’s cheaper there.”
Are you kidding me??? The assumptive and insulting comment just wasn’t needed, but I’m sorry, South Charlotte, NC area “zip codes” are not “lower income.” Let alone, comparing where I come from to Jacksonville, NC lol. Bold move 😂
But get this, they actually charged me for an extra side item. I was correct after the manager reviewed the order. Maybe look a little harder next time before making such a crazy comment.

NOT TODAY....The lady who assisted me was RUDE. When I was asking her about my options (as far as salsas/flavors) she RUSHED me!! This led to her putting the salsa on the bowl I was getting for someone else. When I informed her, I wanted it on the side, she proceeds to have an attitude with me I then had to explain to her that it wasn't for me and had she NOT RUSHED, she would have given me the chance to tell her I needed it on the side; not in the bowl. Then with that order I was also getting a kid's meal, they give me the fruit for the meal (usually a cutie orange) doesn't even fit the plastic cup they are usually served in. When I asked about the fruit, I was told "They all come like that" .. That's a lie! usually, it's normally difficult getting them out of the plastic cup. I ended up going through the drive thru before leaving the property and having to show another lady the "Orange" I was getting.... she did hand me a small bag of chips instead for the inconvenience. Both times I’ve been here have been a poor experience. The first time the drive thru attendant was incredibly rude because we pulled up 3 minutes before our pick up time telling us to “circle around and get back in line we ordered for pickup at 7:50 and it’s 7:47 right now.” This time we came at exactly our pickup time and our order still wasn’t ready, we had to wait another 5 minutes past, when there were 2 customers inside and 1 other car in the drive thru. When I opened my bowl, there were MAYBE 10 tiny pieces of steak in there. Like less than 1/4 cups worth. I don’t know what their standard is supposed to be but for 14$ I’m pretty sorely disappointed. And I guarantee you all the manager will do is the same as all the other horrible reviews and respond with something along the lines of “to better contact us go to this website”.
