I believe I have just experienced a silent racism! I did not even hear a single greeting word coming out of their mouth when I walked in, even though we made an eye contact. And I witnessed, as soon as a white customer walked in they greeted them. It was obvious that when I walked in all the employees and the customers were white people (I should have just walked out). Also, when I get checked out the cashier didn’t even say anything except telling me the total amount I need to pay. I did not hear any basic customer service greeting phrases that need to be asked, not even ONCE when I was in the store!! Believe it or not when it came to the next customer who was right behind me (also a white gentleman), she asked him all the questions that she did not even ask me! “Hi, how are you?” “ Did you find everything okay?” Etc. Most of my shopping I do it at Gretchen's Hallmark on 13820 Old Augustine Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32258. I have had a couple of issues this year. There are employees that accept two coupons for the same item purchased; and there are others that only accept one coupon. I asked to speak with the manager to clarify what is the coupon policy because it is quite embarrassing when there is another person behind you. Today the answer given by the employee was actually a question addressed to me: "Were you able to receive the coupons today though?" It is said that at this location the employees do not know anything about the customer service and it makes me not to go back...

Blond over 50 woman with the blunt Bob haircut was completely rude and of all days on Christmas Eve. There was a sweet young lady ( long brown hair) helping me, but the older woman interjected without being asked and was just plain rude. Possible jealousy going on.
