There is still hope for the service industry thanks to Jackson and Hannah at Bartram Five Guys in Old St. Augustine, FL: 32258
"I had the pleasure of visiting Bartram Five Guys on a Friday night just before closing, and I must say that the experience was nothing short of exceptional, all thanks to the outstanding service provided by Jackson and Hannah. Despite the late hour and nearing closing time, Jackson greeted me with a genuine kindness and a eagerness to serve. His positive attitude and unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction truly shone through, making my visit a memorable one. Hanna being on the grill side had the same attitude and enthusiasm.
Hannah and Jackson's exemplary service with infectious positivity and genuine care for the patrons. Their friendly demeanor and professionalism were truly commendable, and it was evident that they both take pride in providing top-notch service to every customer.
In my opinion, Jackson and Hannah are a solar eclipse in the food industry these days, (Rare). Five Guys @ Bartram, I believe that these two deserve to be recognized and rewarded for their exceptional work ethic and dedication. Their outstanding attitudes, politeness, and genuine joy in serving customers are qualities that any company would be lucky to have. I strongly urge the management or owners of Bartram Five Guys to promote and retain Jackson and Hannah, as their exceptional customer service skills and positive energy will undoubtedly contribute to the continued success of the establishment. Thank you, Jackson and Hannah, for making my visit truly memorable. You are both a credit to service industry and an asset to any...
Read moreThis location needs be called 4 Guys and 1 Person obsessed with Seasoning. I have eaten here 7 times in the last year. And every time except 1, in spite of requesting "light seasoning" on the fries, they instead insist on absolutely drenching the fries in every square inch of the stuff. Now I know good help is hard to find nowadays, but this is sadistic at this point. When the person sees "light seasoning", do they think "let me blot out the sunlight with so much seasoning?"
Common guys, this is ridiculous. I'm not exaggerating when I say that the fries are so overseasoned that it burns my tongue when eating and I have to throw most of them away. Even taking a napkin and wiping each fry I eat individually didn't take enough of the seasoning off. And considering you guys charge over $5 for regular size, this is just pure poor management if the supervisor refuses to teach people how to do this simple request correctly.
I mean their burgers are consistent, but so is ruining a simple batch of French fries. Please get it together and stop...
Read moreWe haven't been to a Five Guys in several years but this isn't how we remember it at all! First of all, we didn't know the peanuts were not available unless one asked for them (found out later reading online when we got home). Had to ask for ketchup (no packets of ketchup anywhere) and the guy behind the counter pulled out a ketchup bottle and put in about 1 oz of it into a 2 oz container! How cheap is that-at least fill it up! The two of us had to make sure not to double dip. The worst part was our hamburgers. Now we know they are messy, especially the "all the way" toppings, but these literally disintegrated in our hands so bad neither one of us got to eat the whole burger. In fact, I would say we both ended up with about half a burger (trying to hold it together) and the other half of it a big glob on our wrapper. What a mess. All this for $30 for lunch for 2 people. Don't know what has happened to this chain but definitely won't be going back to this particular one. Maybe there was a reason for no one there at 1:30 in...
