This lady is two faced. We thought she was really sweet when we first had an appointment but then she totally switched up when we called trying to confirm what was set up. I booked a appointment she had me try on 1 dress after taking my measurements simply to see if that would fit, then she said she had no dresses in store for what I was looking for, but we could look through her magazines to see if I liked any, by this point it was all fine she said to come back next Friday after a certain time and we didn’t have to call so we did. That Friday we wait patiently to try the dresses she said she would have for us, turns out they weren’t there yet, which is fine things happen so she apologized said we will be taken care of and will receive a discount and to come back Tuesday, we just needed to call to make sure first. When we called she was so disrespectful basically saying she’s only taking clients that paid and have already seen their dress and I had to make a appointment for Friday, when I couldn’t even see mine in person or try anything so of course nothing was paid for, she also never mentioned anything about payment when we were there in person except when my mom asked how much the one we liked would be if I decided to keep it, on the phone she kept saying she ordered the dress for us to try out of courtesy but we didn’t pay for anything and when I was trying to make a appointment for Friday like she said, she kept interrupting me and repeating herself saying she’s only taking paying clients right now, not listening to me trying to make a appointment and then finally I explained I’m trying to make one and she calms down and makes one. Both me and my mom called and got nothing but disrespect from her basically because we didn’t pay her when there was nothing to pay for yet and nothing was discussed. My mom decided to leave a review on our experience and this lady lies about what happend on her reply and called us a scammer saying she looked us up etc when there was nothing to even scam you for, nor have we ever scammed anyone so she clearly didn’t do her research right. She is a money hungry person and texted me canceling my appointment with a rude response added saying we don’t have to go back again because she was hurt by the truth we left on the review. She then texted my mom calling her a clown after she was rude to everyone first when we were trying to be nice, she clearly feels entitled for some reason and thinks she can treat clients all she wants without us matching her energy. We don’t need to try and get a free dress from her as she wants to claim because we have plenty of other options this was just recommended from a friend. Plus we have the money to get it like we were trying to do here. I understand if maybe she was stressed out from being swamped but she did not say she was and even if she was she could have said that instead of straight up giving us a attitude from the jump. There was no reason for the amount of disrespect that was given to us when we’re just trying to find a prom dress. And she’s threatening us as you can see on my moms review and we have proof of messages she sent All your saying is lies tryna make yourself look good so people still come here I’m not even gonna respond because you arnt worth any of my time so you can be salty from a review because you can’t handle the truth all you want FYI it’s not based on not getting a dress it’s based on your service and lies you feel obligated to tell because you’re wrong. You also must be getting your people confused or something but that’s your problem not mine. Plus I never chose an expensive gown like your claiming all the ones I did choose was sold out. We always worked on your time and left on our own after you wasted ours. Learn to run a proper business. It seems like every bad review you flip on the other person so people look and it seems like it’s their fault and not yours. We had an appointment last week Sunday 3/30, she told us to pick 2 dresses and she would order it, then she told us to return the following Friday . When we returned the Friday as she said, then she said the dresses had not arrived and told us to come back tomorrow Tuesday, she apologized to us and even told me that she would give us a discount for the dress. Now today my daughter call her to ask if it’s ok to come by on Tuesday after she gets off work as she told us to on Friday and she gives us a total attitude on the phone, saying that we can only come by appointment only when she is the one who said to come on Tuesday to begin with, she is also saying that she is doing this to us as a “courtesy “, because we haven’t pay for the dress. Ma’am, we can’t pay for something that we haven’t try or even see yet, you didn’t tell us that you were doing us a favor when we talked person to person. You made it seen that’s how your routine works. Maybe you need to start writing things that you tell to your potential customers down on paper so you can remember. The owner was totally nasty on the phone, saying that she is taking care of her paid customers and we haven’t even pay for the dress, yes, we didn’t pay because you told us to pick 2 to choose from,, however , the two dress is still not available and we were only following your instructions. Good job ma’am, even trying to sale dream to my daughter to be part of a photo shoot. Good job ma’am , delaying our dress shopping waiting on your dresses. Good job ma’am, showing that this is what we get from trying to support small, black businesses. Conclusion, she pretends to be one way but she is not nice, trusting individual…. And then she had the nerve to text on my personal number to call me a clown lol And to say I’m a scammer lol Scammer of what, what do you have or offer to be scammed from. lol Lady, please, don’t be mad because you forgot what you told us We didn’t just show up!! God is so Good , My daughter is a senior this year and we of course had to purchase a prom gown . Because of our busy schedule she decided to order online and when she received it . It wasn’t what she thought it would be . Now Supermom in full effect with only 4 days until prom the search is on . I found Lady Strut and when I tell you she is a God send . As she was out buying material she answered my call , listened and went into a full mode of finding the best dress for my daughter . Within a couple of hours my daughter chose one dress. After she heard the description and looked at a picture of what my daughters vision was . My daughter tried on one dress and said yes. The owner was amazing and we can’t Thank her enough . My daughter , The Black Barbie of Duval, was happy and excited to wear a gown from Lady Strut Gowns , Parents she is definitely the answer to our daughters needs and will definitely go above and beyond to make dreams come true .
