Atmosphere: great. It was beautiful, clean, cozy, and friendly Service: here is where the problem came in at. I went to get my hair color, cut,and a silk press.I sent a pic of the colorS(dark red in the back and copper in the front) and confirmed it in the consultation. The color didn't come out the way we discussed(two-tone hair dying can be tricky,ok I understand that) but she noticed that my whole head was red(dark red in the back, clown red in the front)and didn't try to fix it. She tried to play it off as if it was the right color. Once I said that I will not be receiving the other two services(cut and silk press) ,she than told me I can come back in a couple of days to get my hair recolor. (😡 so I suppose to wear my hair like this for a couple of days??).i asked if she could do a rinse to offset the bright red, she did,But the color still did not come out right. I shouldn't have to ask for the job to be done correctly,,we all mess up the less you can do is fix it without me asking. I visited this salon on June 19 2023. I will not be returning to this salon. The salon has good customer service. The appearance of my natural hair twist was good. My hair was not tight. The price was reasonable.

Brenda was my stylist. There was no consultation before to ask if I had any allergies or sensitive. I had baking soda put in my hair, which is very high in ph and did not agree with my scalp so it burned. I ask for a trim and my hair was cut extremely uneven. This was partially due to the power going out thus blow dryer going out of service so she trimmed some parts blown out and some curled. No discount was offered for this mishap. The uneven strands of my hair caused tangles all over and made my hair unmanageable upon taking doen. Although the style was charged at market price, after experiencing damage done to my hair and scalp, this visit was not worth it.

Shariah was amazing. She’s an angel and so light handed. We were trying to figure out how to define the texture of my new big chop. I loved the shape but did not like the frizziness. she asked Shine to assist her in figuring how to style the curls. Shine said she would trim a little bit of hair off the back and then try to figure out the right style of cut for me. She then took it upon herself to start shaping my hairline up both front and back and shaved my hair down even shorter. And instead of a pretty short curly hairstyle, I was left looking like a guy who just a cut from the barber. I am so heartbroken that Shine did that. I was very excited to be a new and regular customer here, always looking to support black women, but that quickly was shot down.
