BE CAREFUL going here IF YOU HAVE AFRICAN AMERICAN HAIR OR NATURAL HAIR. I was going to another Dominican hair salon but the wait was always long so the owner Fatima was recommended to me. I was told that she did blow outs for $35.00 by a friend so I called to make an appt. She aske me want I was getting and I said a wash and press. My hair is natural but presses out really well to the point most people don't know I am natural. She wanted to roller set my hair and then blow dry it. I said no I just wanted her to blow dry it and flat iron it. She got upset but said that's fine. When she got to my hair she yanked and pulled at my hair to blow dry it as if she had an attitude. I asked her was everything ok because she was pulling my hair. She continued quickly blow drying it on extremely high heat with an attitude the entire time because I did not want to do things her way. Afterward she did not flat iron my hair and it clearly needed to be flat ironed and then charged me $45.00. I said $45.00 for washing and blow drying my hair she said yes my hair did not need to be flat ironed. I was so upset and had such a headache from her pulling my hair I paid her and left. Ramona's is a long wait but she washes, deep conditions, blow dry and flat irons my hair for the exact same price and she is located on Southside. I have never had my hair pulled in that way and I had to go home and spend an hour flat ironing my hair after I paid $45 to get my hair done. HORRIBLE...

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER !! My friend had got her Keratin treatment two weeks back from Fatima, she said if we are unsatisfied with the treatment we can come back and get it treated again or get a refund too. Today we called her for appointment as my friend was not satisfied with the treatment, she asked us to walk-in right away, so we reached the salon in 20 mins and she made us wait for more than hour. Poor customer service !! This happened last time too, she nearly took 5 hours for keratin treatment and two haircut's, as she was handling mutiple customer's at a time, NO PROFESSIONALISM at all !! She should make proper appointments rather than making people wait for 5 hour's ,just for 2 hours work.

And after long wait today when we told her that Keratin treatment didn't work out and my friend's hair was completely back to her old frizzy hair, she was very rude to us and ignored what we said and also refused to issue refund.

Don't waste your money going to this place. My friend spent 360$ for worst keratin...

Called in the morning to set an appointment for blow dry for 12:30. Arrived at 12:17. They washed my hair.."Fatima" then let the washer know to put treatment in my hair without my consent. I asked her what it was for and how much and she said it was $5 extra. Told her didn't want it. They were just going to add it without asking. Good thing I could speak Spanish and understand what they were saying. It was 1pm and I was still there waiting. I went up to "Fatima" to let her know I was not okay with waiting this long when I had an appointment. She then decided to say "we never give out appointments, you have 2 more people waiting in line." I let her know I was leaving (wet hair and all) she proceeded to charge me $11 for a wash. Pathetic. Horrible service. Don't come here. You might as well wash your own hair and straighten...
