Chiqui Burger Southside Blvd — Restaurant in Jacksonville

Delivery did not take as long as they said, pretty fast actually for where it was coming from. Driver was real nice. The food smelled really good and still had warmth to it, not steaming hot, but ok. As in most of the other reviews, the fries were not that hot and were soggy. Wish you would offer an alternative to the fries, I knew they would come that way. All fast food delivery fries come soggy, not much you can do about it, especially if its in the same container with the steaming hot food.

Tasted awesome, not sure why others gave the meat a bad review, excellent taste! Now for the most disappointing part of it all and why you only get three stars instead of 5!

I ordered the BBQ plate for two and only got one. If that was two servings in that small to go box then the three stars would be appropriate, because the portion was small or the least the sides were. Lots of meat but the other sides that are suppose to come with it are definitely single 1 serving sides! Not sure if a single order gets 1 chorizo or two, if its two then you shorted me a whole meal.

You should put the sides or at LEAST the fries in a separate container with ventilation which will make them stay hotter and less soggy. Also if the pic I am attaching is the double order, the sides are not proportioned to the rest of the meal. BTW what kind of salad are we suppose to get, because I didn't see one or shall I say 2.

Overall Very good food, just make sure you check it and maybe better off just ordering the 2 single bbq's for the extra $8 so you get a full portion...

First time here so we ordered a couple of things at there food truck. At first glance the menu was a bit confusing because it was alot of things on there. So we ordered two orders of Wings with French fries & Cachapa con Carne & mozzarella sticks forgot the name of it & Pina colada. When all was ordered it came out to $72 something....🫨🫨🧐 It way over price in my opinion! Ok so, we paided, wait time is expected because we ordered a couple of things. Received our order & to be honest the Pina Colada was nasty. They can work on getting to taste like a actual Pina colada & adding less coco shreds. The syrup they added on top was bitter, it was just nasty. So we ended up tossing that in the garbage ($12 each colada) & getting a Wendy drink. The food was ok, the wings needed flavor, fries was a bit salty. The Mozzarella sticks was by far a hit with our boys out of all the things we ordered. They also didnt provide any napkins,...

The Southside Truck location has tasty food. I gave it lower ratings because it's hard to order if you don't speak Spanish ( yes I got my phone to translate). I waited over 30 mins for one small order.. I guess I was waiting for them to call my name out on their microphone but they never did. So mine just sat there to get cold. When I did go and ask at the window ( in Spanish) why it was such a long way they were like they had it but they just never called my name. So I guess my complaint is I know they get busy it's a very popular location but they need to have a better system maybe put numbers on the orders and call out the number even in English or in Spanish would be fine or flash it up on a display... I mean anything I just don't neglect a customer because we can't all communicate in the same way. I still think the food at chiqui Burger tastes amazing but the food truck experience was less than...
